Safety & Security

The first two words that come to mind when using a crypto wallet, of any type: Hot wallet, Cold wallet, Paper wallet ect. If your Crypto is not Safe & Secure; then you might as well flush them down a virtual toilet!
As crypto continues to evolve so do the Hacks and Exploits.
While no wallet is 100% secure, as there is always a potential for an attack, using a wallet with the highest security is the best way to ensure the Safety & Security of your Crypto’s. Scammers is another way your wallet can be hacked, but that is a whole separate topic.

In my opinion One of the best/Safest features is, the integration of Nano Leger Hardware wallet.
Using a Hardware wallet is one of the Safest ways
to ensure the security of your Crypto! Your Keys, Your coins in the Palm of your hand(literally).
Other Security Features of Tally Ho wallet are:
- ability to add Read-only wallets
- Connect to dApps without unlocking wallet’s Keyring
- 24 word recovery phrases
- import multiple recovery phrases for each account

Tally Ho is truly decentralized and open sourced

It uses the GPLv3 license . What does this mean? No matter how Tally Ho wallet evolves,,
it will always belong to the community:
“GPLv3 essentially means that Tally Ho will stay open-source and community-controlled for good and
that any project that forks our code must be open-source.”(2)
This adds another layer of security, not only for the wallet, but also for the community and its Users.

Conclusion:
The UI is similar to other wallets when setting up, recovery phrases and passes. I feel this will attract a lot of new users, because it will not be an overwhelming process to set up a new wallet.
In the video below I show Tally Ho’s wallet set up process, so you can see how simple it is to set up.
Tally Ho Wallet is the alternative to Metamask that users have been searching for, its what I have been searching for!!
