First of all, this is not a financial advice. I just want to reaveal you one of my projects that I like and trust: Restart Energy (MWAT).

TL;DR - MWAT is an Energy project who aims to create an Energy trading platform for producers and consumers all around the globe to freely (no transaction fees) trade the energy at better prices for both of them, eliminating the third party (the big energy sellers who gather the production from the smaller ones). 

What is MWAT good for? Every producer who sells the energy through this platform would donate 5% of their produced energy which is given to MWAT holders as an GTK (green energy token) that can be also tradeable. As more producers on the platform, more GTK for MWAT holders, so the incomes will grow.

What I want to share with you now?

The first phase of the project should be announced these days and it is about launching the MVP (Minimum Viable Product): RED V-LEC - a retail app that will allow any individual or company that owns MWAT to create their own virtual energy company and start earning from their consumers.

According to the Restart Energy:

As the V-LEC Franchise App won’t require Restart Energy to be physically present to deliver electricity, the franchise app will be many times more scalable than the current application environment. RED is developing the app for global use and received over 500 franchise requests that will be amongst the first to test the V-LEC Franchise App when it’s released.

Besides those requests (maybe some of them will not be viable at this moment and some of them never), a new function was created for MWAT holders, just one for each country: the RED Validator and the tokens needed for this is 10 million!! If I mention that the requirements for having a V-LEC franchise is 1 million and the maximum supply of MWAT is 500 million, I am expecting to some adjustments of this amounts depending to the country. For example, you cannot compare the market from Germany with the one from Slovenia, for example. The first one is maybe 50 times bigger!

So, we expect the official announcement for this fine tunes and the whole details.

What happened in the last period

The biggest issue was the Kucoin hack from the last days of September: 270 million $ worth assets were stolen, but soon, 210 million $ were recovered.

However, some tokens and coins remained blocked, like LTC, SNX, DGB, DASH, etc including 70 million MWAT tokens from a total of 116 million. So, the price continued to drop during this uncertainty.

Until two days ago, when the withdrawals and deposits were restored. :)

You can see this news also on the chart. The price will keep growing because of lack of sellers and in the waiting of the announce.

The next news are coming from the inside of the company, where the preparation for launching the V-LEC and the whole ecosystem created the need for marketing, so they are hiring positions for this department. In past discussions, they refused to advertise their project until the appearance of a MVP. So, hiring in marketing is the sign that the moment has come.

Also, making some interesting partnerships (with Glovo, a delivery company, for example) is making them more visible in the market. Ads like this started to appear:

And, a plus for the board of this company, the CEO was awarded at one of the 10 Top Young Managers in Romania.

So, the things are moving. I am convinced there will be more delays, but I still trust in this project.
