Farming Bad AMA Recap Crypto Revolution Telegram Group

On 14th of March Farming Bad conducted an AMA in Crypto Revolution Community. Our guests were Shades and Hannibal from Farming Bad Team. Really intersting Project in my opinion. They have some potential! Let’s take a look at most interesting points from our Conversation!

INTRODUCTION

Danny | Crypto Revolution: AMA is starting! Welcome Shades and Hannibal! Happy to have you with us today 😁

Shades | Farming Bad: Happy to be here. Thank you for this opportunity

Hannibal|Farming Bad: Hello everyone. I’m happy to be here too 🤙

Danny | Crypto Revolution: Could you please introduce yourselves and tell us how did you get involved into Crypto? 😁

Shades | Farming Bad: So hello everyone, I am Shades. I joined crypto in 2018, not as an investor, but more as a developer. Smart contracts are very fun. I am currently one of the developers for Farming Bad, so I can answer the technical questions.

Hannibal|Farming Bad: I’m Hannibal. I’ve been in crypto for 3 years.
I can’t thank my childhood friend enough for introducing me to this world

Danny | Crypto Revolution: Hah. Nice. Crypto is World with a lot of Possibilities 😁
Is your Smart Contract Audited and secured enough? You probably know what’s happened recently with Paid and their got hacked.

Shades | Farming Bad: Yes, our smart contracts have been audited by Solidity Finance:
https://twitter.com/FarmingBad/status/1361402990985363464?s=19

Also we have forked Sushi and removed Migrator. So there’s not much experimentation going on in the smart contract to be deemed “dangerous”.

Danny | Crypto Revolution: Got you. This is quite important today 😉

Hannibal|Farming Bad: It’s terrible what happened to PAID. Yet their contract was audited. But I saw that there was the possibility to mint tokens in their smartcontract. Maybe that’s where the problem came from

Shades | Farming Bad: Off course. We knew the smart contract was safe, but we audited regardless to let the investors feel more safety.

Danny | Crypto Revolution: Could you please introduce Farming Bad in Layman’s term to the Community?

Hannibal|Farming Bad: Farming Bad (METH) is a yield farming project inspired from DeFi Protocols and drastically improved from a tokenomics point of view.
We have combined several attractive features:
- Farming with LP tokens.
- Use part of LP tokens to mine BTC in various locations in the world with cheap electricity (0.05$ per KWH) and buyback METH with BTC (adding buy pressure forever)

Danny | Crypto Revolution: 2nd Option is really interesting one 😃

Hannibal|Farming Bad: We are also developing the NFTs part

Danny | Crypto Revolution: Noiceee

Shades | Farming Bad: Let’s not forget the FaaS part. We offer farming as service to other crypto projects. Part of the income goes into buying back METHs.

Danny | Crypto Revolution: NFTs are getting quite popular this year.
Could you please mention few words for the Tokenomics?

Hannibal|Farming Bad: In few words

Our token is called $METH
Our max supply is 30M
Our token is a farming token

Here is the coingecko link :

https://www.coingecko.com/en/coins/farming-bad

Concerning farming
We take a tax of 5%
2% for development
3% for BTC mining

Danny | Crypto Revolution: I’m sure most of the people after visiting the Coingecko Link will ask you: There is not too much Volume? Why is that?

Hannibal|Farming Bad: We had a lot of volume in the first few days.
But the last few days we don’t have any volume because we don’t have an incentive to buy yet.
This will change with BTC mining, NFTs and FAAS!

Danny | Crypto Revolution: Got you. Still Pool is quite Solid. And you have quite good amount of Holders. Also I see some good Influencers working with you!

Hannibal|Farming Bad: You must be talking about El Chapo?

Danny | Crypto Revolution: Hah. Yeah

Hannibal|Farming Bad: He is a team member

Shades | Farming Bad: The cool thing about the project, is that we’re strong in different aspects.

Danny | Crypto Revolution: What’s his position in the team? That’s nice 💪

Hannibal|Farming Bad: He manages the marketing part and many other things. We are happy to have him with us because he is very professional.

Danny | Crypto Revolution: Got it. That’s cool 😁

Shades | Farming Bad: People can’t see for example the work being done in the background on FaaS, but it is a game changer, and that could not be possible for instance, if Chapo didn’t have connections and a strong business background to be getting these clients.

Danny | Crypto Revolution: You know people today in Crypto are only interested in quick Profit. Lol. They don’t have patience to wait. Most of them!

Hannibal|Farming Bad: Yes, and it is regrettable. But attitudes are beginning to change.

Danny | Crypto Revolution: Nice. I always say that Patience is Golden in Crypto!

TWITTER QUESTIONS

Q1 from @Gb_asdfg

About Farming As A Service (FaaS). How does it work? Why would a project want to have this service? What advantages does FaaS offer in terms of long-term development? Can you mention some projects that currently have this service?

Hannibal|Farming Bad: Farming As A Service (FaaS) will allow projects to spin up a pre-audited yield farming template/contract. Think of it as a basic interface that allows for setting up basic variables (base deposit, token distribution rewards, farming schedule, emissions structure, etc). FarmingBad will then deploy the contract and host the farming pool on farmingbad.finance for the duration of the emissions schedule.
Project Benefits:

1. Zero Upfront Cost to the Project — farming/staking contracts are built & deployed free of charge. The fees are incurred by the users who stake assets to receive the provided rewards, not the project.

2. Validated bug-free/audited staking contracts.

3. Cross-community marketing & visibility on a growing farming platform.

4. Create buy pressure on token by offering reward for staking.

4. Deepen liquidity by offering rewards for liquidity provision
In addition, there are no fees for deployment
We take care of everything
There is only a 5% tax taken from the LPs which is used to develop our project (2%) and to buy rigs for BTC mining (3%)
Like our others pools

Danny | Crypto Revolution: I like all of those. Quite nice!

Hannibal|Farming Bad: Simplicity and security at the same time!

Danny | Crypto Revolution: How many rigs you guys currently have?

Hannibal|Farming Bad: We bought 220k$ worth of rigs!

https://etherscan.io/tx/0xee8d2e46c32b9ea4d7b85338b5ad3bfe7431fe2e5404384c7261ff8e6db2f58d

Q2 from @RaselKh55696302

Tell us a little bit about security? Have you done an audit of the platform? Are the smart contracts error-free? What are the test results?

Shades | Farming Bad: Nothing to add, everything is safe!

https://solidity.finance/audits/FarmingBad/

Danny | Crypto Revolution: Enough said. Hah. 😁

Hannibal|Farming Bad: And we are planning to have one or two more audits in the near future to guarantee even more security!

Danny | Crypto Revolution: Perfect!

Q3 from @Lopyou54804819

“Use part of LP tokens to mine BTC in various locations in the world with cheap electricity “ How can you be so sure that you’re able to find cheap electricity all time? How powerful connections already established?

Hannibal|Farming Bad: We have worked with them for long time and they assured we have this access, also because we are using public legal facilities they can not increase electricity rate without any further notice. Russia is only one option right now, which is safest and coolest. better for devices, we have also access to some countries with lower electricity rates which we currently investigating possibilities. Ideally any thing between 2 cent and 5 cent for us is great. and this is matter for bear years as price of BTC drops. in bull markets like this year it really effect the operation less!

Danny | Crypto Revolution: Noiceee

UPTRENND QUESTIONS

Q1 from Giniwhite

Is there a reason why the logo is similar to the famous BREAKING BAD series? What does this design represent for Farming bad?

Shades | Farming Bad: Our theme is based on Breaking Bad, thus the name Farming Bad. So having similarities should not be a suprise?

Hannibal|Farming Bad: Yes, we were inspired by the Breaking Bad series
Hence the name Farming Bad, you could see the website too which reminds BB theme. And our videos too.
We are fans of BB and we wanted to use it as inspiration for our project
So to answer you, the design is just a nod to Breaking Bad

Danny | Crypto Revolution: Breaking Bad is nice show btw. Love it 😀
Btw team is Anon or Public?

Hannibal|Farming Bad: A member of our team is doxxed. Papers had to be signed for the BTC mining contract.

Danny | Crypto Revolution: Important for the Trust

Hannibal|Farming Bad: Yeap. Agree with you. But the most important thing is the code. Always believe the code.

Danny | Crypto Revolution: Haha. And here I agree with you!

Hannibal|Farming Bad: Minting keys burned:

Danny | Crypto Revolution: 😃

Hannibal|Farming Bad: For your information 😎

Danny | Crypto Revolution: Thank you 💪

Q2 from Corrie Dorf

Many DeFi protocols are clones of existing ones, can you show us The Farming Bad genuineness and key features that helps you stand out?

Hannibal|Farming Bad: We have a different approach to farming with a curve that gives us stability over time. Our devs have developed a project that is here to stay. It’s not a short term project.
Moreover we are innovative in BTC mining, with the tax collected with the LP we buy rigs to make mining and a buyback of our token
We are also currently developing the NFTs part which will not be simply there for fun. Our NFTs will have a usecase in our ecosystem

Danny | Crypto Revolution: How often buybacks are happening?

Hannibal|Farming Bad: No exact date will be announced to avoid PnD.
But it can be weekly or every 24 hours

Danny | Crypto Revolution: Okay. Got it

Hannibal|Farming Bad: It will also depend on our ability to mine.
If all goes well we will soon make our second purchase 😎

Q3 from TehMoonHunter x1005h

In your introduction you analyzed the main problems that exist in other Defi projects where there is inflation and deflation causing them to fail, then you created your product but I do not understand your mathematical equation very well. Could you explain the solution you have to these problems to achieve true predictability in what is the Farming Yield?

Hannibal|Farming Bad: The mathematical equation is simply a way to curve rewards over time. Instead of having inflation, we got a fixed supply, so eventually the inflation becomes lower with time.
As we grow our ecosystem with FaaS and BTC mining, buy backs carry a heavier strike than inflation over time.

Danny | Crypto Revolution: What Marketing you guys plan to do except the one El Chapo is doing?

Shades | Farming Bad: Get everything functional first, set the buy backs ready, and present an irresistible product. We strongly believe that once buy back start kicking in and we have a good number of FaaS clients, it’s going to get much easier to advertise it. (from my point of view, I’ll let Hannibal answer the other measures for marketing as I don’t handle that).

Hannibal|Farming Bad: Make other AMAs with interesting groups like here and not useless ones. We have also planned some YT videos, we have contacted some.

Danny | Crypto Revolution: Yeah better do Development first and than Marketing 💪 Nice. Thanks for putting my group in Interesting Part. Haha

Hannibal|Farming Bad: But clearly we don’t want to spend the whole budget on meaningless marketing. I’m more in favour of community actions.

Danny | Crypto Revolution: 😁

Hannibal|Farming Bad: 😎🤙

Danny | Crypto Revolution: Yeah Community always is Number 1

QUIZ PART

Question: What would our project more attractive to your community?

Best Answer: Use the money generated by the BTC mining for the first rig to buy more BTC mining rigs — instead of buyback.

Question: Should we buyback our $METH token with the LP tax or continue buying rigs for BTC mining?

Best Answer: Continue buying rigs for btc mining.

Question: Should we migrate to BSC ?

Best Answer: No. Uniswap has more trader compared to BSC. More chance of dump in bsc.

- We got some news coming up as well regarding mining very soon.

Telegram User:

What innovations does FARMING BAD offer in DeFI and Yield Farming and how Do FARMING BAD changing the new DeFi ecosystem and what are the plans for the next few years?

Hannibal|Farming Bad: BTC mining
FAAS
NFTs
I will share our roadmap

Telegram User:

What made you choose a design style similar to the periodic table for your project?

Shades | Farming Bad: Breaking Bad uses a periodic table.

Telegram User:

I would appreciate it if you could share the next updates with us. What is the most ambitious goal of #Farming_Bad? What should the community look for?

Hannibal|Farming Bad: Today is the day for BTC mining. The contract for the NFTs was deployed. And tonight we have a new client for FAAS.

Telegram User:

There are rumors that uniswap V3 would airdrop Xdai or Uni tokens to uni LP providers. What happend to those tokens if we put uni/weth on your farm?

Shades | Farming Bad: In case that even happens, we’ll give the tokens to each LP provider.

Telegram User:

Community support is one of the biggest aspects of a project’s success. Most projects have programs that interact with their users. Do you have special event to attract and expand the community and improve the user experience? Airdrop, bug bounty, giveaways? People love something free from something new :)

Hannibal|Farming Bad: We did a MEME contest. We try to involve our community as much as possible. We are open for other initiatives.

Telegram User:

What makes you feel confident about the survival & sustainable success of Your project in the near future?

Hannibal|Farming Bad: Because we have reliable developers and a team that wants to develop the project. And above all, we are starting to have a real community that we can count on.

Telegram User:

At your website it says that NFTs will be implemented soon in Farming Bad. When can we see this update and how do you plan to incorporate NFTs into the Farming Bad ecosystem?

Shades | Farming Bad: This part is being developed in parallel to our FaaS. More details will be available near release.

Hannibal|Farming Bad: https://farmingbad.medium.com/farming-bad-a-new-era-for-yield-farming-a49afdab4618

Telegram User:

If the 50% revenue used to BuyBack and other 50% sent to token holders than what are the benefits of the project itself? From where you generate revenue?

Shades | Farming Bad: We take 5% on LP deposits. 3% goes to buying back, and 2% goes to the team.

Hannibal|Farming Bad: With the 5% Tax. 2% is for dev funds.

Telegram User:

How will you continue to promote your product in the future? Do you already have plans for other interfaces with other companies ?

Hannibal|Farming Bad: More marketing.

Telegram User:

While you build your project, do you take into account community feedbacks and demands?

Shades | Farming Bad: We have always taken into consideration everything they say within the realm of logic and reason.

Telegram User:

It is unfortunate that some projects remain half way because their developers abandon the concept because they cannot achieve the desired capitalization in the long term; how do you plan to make this project sustainable for its development?

Hannibal|Farming Bad: With a continuous development. We must be the first project to do what we do. BTC mining combined with farming.
I have confidence in what will happen next.

Telegram User:

What is the major side in your project? And how many strong that?

Shades | Farming Bad: I would definitely say the FaaS combined with the Mining buy back can be a serious attractive feature for our project. Granted, the buying back needs to offset the sells from farming, but we believe we’ll get there soon.
Also, once governance system is implemented, I think it will also be attractive to stake METH for governance, and stakers will be able to get the 2% we currently get.

Telegram User:

Are you going to migrate to BSC?

Hannibal|Farming Bad: I don’t think. An update is coming on ETH and it will change a lot of things.

Telegram User:

What difficulties you have been encountered during project developing?

Hannibal|Farming Bad: A difficult launch because we were frontrun by a bot . Delays for BTC mining. But now everything is going well.

Shades | Farming Bad: Great question!
Current difficulty, which I believe is a strong obstacle is the the selling from farming. As investors don’t really see what we are working behind the curtains, it’s hard to reassure them and share with them our vision. But time will heal that, and very soon as the implementations are ready and we will start to see some improvements.

CONCLUSION

Danny | Crypto Revolution: You guys rocked! Final Words?

Shades | Farming Bad: Thank you everyone, and stay safe. Easy on the alcohol!

Hannibal|Farming Bad: Thank you for your interest. Thank you for inviting us here. If you have any further questions, please feel free to join our group
Today is going to be a big day for our project, I guarantee it.
