RAZER getting into crypto mining?

RAZER RELEASED A CRYPTO MINING SOFTWARE TODAY

It's called SoftMiner, and it just got announced today (12/12/18).

There are lots of memes and diappointment on the twitter post, but a lot of people will be trying it out for the first days. We'll see what all this lead to, but razer it trying to get a place into the mining community using all their customers

I don't really think this is a good idea from their team. The most shady thing is the rate that the Silver is mined at, which they claim it's around 500 per day.

But looking at the possible rewards to claim with Silver, with some keyboards going for 154000 or headphones for 84000, the time to get to those amounts is in the range of months for the lower value rewards or even years for the pricier ones.

THE TRICK IS: The Silver has an expiration date of 1 year from the time of obtainment. This a very important fact that will leave out of range many of the products offered, unless you have a large mining rig on hand.

Also they don't actually say what they are mining with their customer's compute power, but in the forums they say that this new software has the following miners: ccminer, Ethminer and xmr-stak.
