This week, a bitcoin video went viral on TikTok app for the first time. Tiktok is known as an app for short-form mobile video clips shared on social networking sites by people. Posted by TikTok user Wolf of Bitcoins, the short clip shows someone entered a room full of crypto mining equipment, displays a caption "this is why GPU prices went up,” and has a number of Bitcoin-related tags like “Bitcoin,” “explain Bitcoin” and “Bitcoin mining.”
At this point of time, the said short video clip gained over a million views,running 114 thousand likes and two thousand comments. Since it got exposed, it is possible it can get to produce more hype and increase its value.
Thomas Schulz a Crypto entrepreneur brought up the TikTok video clip in a tweet on Dec. 14, describing the video as the “first viral Bitcoin TikTok.” Schulz clarified that it wasn't him who made that video, informing that it was the first time when Bitcoin appeared on his TikTok feed.
