Per a stand in on a call with Brank's team and community this is what has happened to the ERC-20 token BRNK, and what their team is doing now. 


"On October 10, 2021 the corporate wallet for Brank was hacked, all the BRNK in the company wallet was removed along with the USDC in the wallet. In order to save the community as much as possible the founders and team removed as much liquidity as possible. The hacker managed to walk away with 27k USDC. There is another 25K locked until August 2022. 

The members who managed to pull out pooled together to re launch a utility token for Brank.io. 

The developer and founder of Brank has made a tool to airdrop the new token to the holders of BRNK pre hacking. This tool will be online until August 2020 for the locked liquidity. (A vast majority of holders have been airdropped already) 

The new token BRANK has now been launched on Pancake Swap with the saved liquidity for BRNK. We have also reconsidered our numbers on Volume and have doubled it, this has acted like a stock split for prior holders. We as a team have tried to have the launch price as close to exit price of the ERC-20 token that was compromised."
