What is 'Sorare'?
For you football fans out there, or any sports enthusiast for that matter, you might be familiar with 'Fantasy Teams' - online ranked competitions for fans and followers to choose a line-up of players which they think will perform better than the competition: other players who have also selected their squads for that 'Gameweek'.
What is a Gameweek?
A Gameweek is a set of fixtures designed to mimic real-life matches, and is the basis on which players are awarded points. Of course, this list isn't exhaustive but does show the great diversity of official licenses the game has already obtained. A Gameweek isn't designed to mimic a whole week, but rather runs for four days, allowing players to collect their rewards more consistently and compete for top spots.
What are rewards?
Rewarded player cards come in the form of NFTs, with Limited, Rare, Super Rare and Unique category cards having only a certain predetermined number minted. This helps to preserve their value and rewards early adopters simply by getting into the game early.
