Hacker gets 442 Eth from a Defi Platform


Sturdy Finance reported to lose 442 Eth (around 800k usd) 

Blockchain Security firm Peckshield has confirmed suspicious transaction that they thought was linked to price manipulation within Sturdy Finance. Immediately they paused all markets and re assured users that no additional funds were lost. 

The hacker managed to take the 442 Eth in just about an hour before they found the suspicious behavior. Another blockchain security company called Blocksec said that the hacker used a technique called reentrancy attack. it allowes the hacker to repeat a function within their single transaction before the first one is complete.
