We all see how the world we live in is becoming more and more dependent on technology. In addition to that, we are starting to build our digital, virtual, online lives. So, we should not be surprised when we end up paying in virtual currencies.
In fact, we even started paying in virtual currencies. But can they represent the future? They have been around for some time and are now widely considered to be the future of money. If we were to look at how much the market is worth today, we can say that it is true.
Before continuing with my post, I want to send a message to those who are afraid that we will not get anywhere with cryptocurrencies. There are probably people as skeptical as me, but I want to tell them: don't give up! I just started and I already wanted to give up, but I said to give it another chance. I have a very small amount of cryptocurrencies at the moment, and their value is almost insignificant, but I hope that I will be rewarded somewhere in the future for all my efforts.
Currently, Bitcoin is the most popular, the most expensive and the safest currency. I admit, I don't have many, in fact I have very few BTC. This cryptocurrency was created somewhere in 2008-2009 and it was intended to be the safest way to trade money. It was specially created to avoid the usual problems that we kept encountering when dealing with traditional money.
There are other coins worth buying or exploring at the moment. I admit that I don't know which is the best at the moment, although I'm sure there are quite a few somewhere. I just have to find them. I remember reading somewhere in the news that a pizza in 2010 was bought for 10,000 BTC. By 2013, it would have meant almost a million dollars.
Similar to BTC, I found other currencies, but which differ in the way they are created and registered on the market: Litecoin and others.
I strongly believe that these represent the future, the future of a digital and technology-based world. Many more years will pass, but the money as we know it will no longer exist.
