Again, this game is free to sign up, free to play and they give you 140 cards to use to get started playing. The GODS tokens can be used to buy nft cards that you own on the IMX exchange which has very low transaction costs (none to sell your nft cards). Also the gods tokens are good for upgrading your cards to more valuable forms of nfts which which will become more important as they move to a daily gods reward system-more on that in another post! The weekend tourney is a great time to learn to play and get rewarded, though you may want to read my earlier posts for some suggestions before you start competitive play, including watching the tutorial and trying a few games against the computer which does not count as a win or loss. In competitive play as you lose you move down to a lower level, and as you win you move up to a higher level. This allows you to play more competitive games. You never lose any gods tokens or lose your nfts cards in any game. They are yours to keep and do with as you please-even sell them.
You will also earn flux when you play which allows you to forge cards to a higher value, and star points which can be used to buy cards in the star store which change as often as daily. This is a great way to add new cards to your deck for playing for free! And again, you are awarded cards for reaching certain levels and also just by playing a certain amount of games over time.
Final playing tip for the day:
Make sure to look at how your cards can work together, with certain kinds of cards adding benefits to related cards when played. AND make sure to read the cards your opponent plays by hovering over them, so you understand the impact of attacking that card. It's also a way to spot cards that you may want to add to your decks.
