Deep in the bowels of Discord there is a community known best as TipCC. This same community is the Discord home for TipCC's owner and supporters. The program itself is a well-known bot system that allows for the exchange, transfer, swap and giving away of crypto on Discord. Okay, sounds positive right? Well, yes, but then there is the Drops-and-Begging channel in that forum.
Literally, Drop & Beg
The concept of the channel is simple: those who want to give away crypto do so via airdrops or tips or envelopes. Those who want to get free crypto beg. For some weird, morbid reason, this relationship brings together an odd set of humanity. Believe or not there are folks who have literally dropped and given away the equivalent of thousands of dollars of tips and airdrops in this channel. And there are those, on the opposite end of the spectrum who have collected respectable sums as well.
Now, granted, most of the crypto given away in this channel is literally shitcoins. Some people engage because of collectibility. Well over 300 different types of crypto coins and tokens can be exchanged on the TipCC system, including big names like Bitcoin and small, useless bad excuses of coding nightmares like PDD and CAPT. And their are folks hellbent on getting a bit of every different coin, like digital stamp collecting.
You use your TipCC wallet in discord to move things around once you have coin. Yes, the bot gives you your own wallet account. It's not a true wallet, TipCC has the keys, but it works for what's needed. Anything of value people transfer out quickly. You can also transfer into the wallet if you feel so inclined in your direct message (DM) area of Discord.
However, most folks are just interested in the hope for free crypto and the illusion that someone how it will add up to real cash. Hey, I'm one of them, I'll admit it.
The True Reality
On average, if one spent the entire day monitoring the Drops-and-Begging channel, you'll be lucky to get something between $0.25 and $0.50 in actual, usable coins. Now, you'll still need to find some other Discord resource to swap those coins to a usable form, which is a secondary challenge. TipCC does offer a peer-to-peer trading channel, but it's dependent on parties connecting online and engaging in a trade. Instead, one still has to find another Discord channel to actually exchange coins and tokens to desirable choices. Ironically, these swaps utilize the TipCC bot as well. Go figure.
So Why Bother?
There is something psychologically appealing to nonsense that goes on in the Drops-and-Begging channel. Sometimes it is flat out as bad as the Internet can get. Other times it's just plain infantile. And, other times, there's just a swirling fun mess of humanity from different corners of the world. Oh, and most of the time it can end up being a literary cesspool. Yep, that's TipCC.
But I'm not going to tell you how to get there. You have to find it yourself, just like we all did. And from there, it will open up the rest of the Discord crypto world for you. True story.
