I made money this week on ETH's bump, did you?
It seems like a simple question, but it's the kind of query that can really trigger a big debate in the crypto world right now. The purists will argue hold, don't sell, and only then will you make the real profits crypto has always been rumored to promise. The day traders will quickly snipe real money is made as things go up and down, wash-rinse-repeat. In reality neither of them really matter.
You, make the decision of when to sell.
Yep, no way out of it, you're responsible for your own money and investments. No matter what anyone says, you're never going to get out of the fundamental responsibility of doing your own research and making your own decisions. Folks try to follow others all the time, I see it every coin and NFT market. And there's a lot of folks who make money advertising that they can predict to followers where to go. However, at the end of the day all that matters is the decision you yourself make.
Personally, I generally think it's right for me to take a profit when my investment hits over 25%. Last night it registered 37% when I sold some of my ETH. So, now I sit back and wait. Some will argue I missed out on more of the rise today. Maybe I did, or not. We won't know until we get there. In the meantime, I made a third more of my money, which is a nice change after seeing values drop for almost a year.
Good luck. We go into another year with no flipping idea where things will end up by 2023. Oh joy.
