As I noted in my previous article, the collapse of the Tip.cc server and support has left a notable vacuum in the Discord world. However, new elements are moving to fill the gap with energy and new offerings. Two to take note of are Black Moon token (BMN) on the CRO chain, as well as Gemma (GMA). Both are generally community-focused tokens with little in the way of actual, practical use cases, but like Pepe coin (PEP), they are generating a lot of buzz. Additionally, they get people out of the classic chain run of just looking for another token or coin in the same old neighborhoods.

BlackMoon token focuses on community games and NFT launches to build it's reputation and stable of support. The token is accessed through the Cronos chain, and you will need a bit of CRO for gas fees to get anything done. Fortunately, the amount is minimal, a few pennies at best. The Cronos chain works seamlessly with big wallets like Metamask and Crypto.com's online wallet; you just need to import it into Metamask to show up. Once you have an account, then you need to register with Flipsuite to take advantage of Black Moon's offerings. The server uses Flipsuite for rewards and staking as well as easy swapping on CRO tokens. With all the above in place, then you can connect with the Black Moon server and get started. The community has daily drops, raffles and game challenges as well as higher reward options for staking and burning tokens. Again, the big benefit of this adventure is getting time and placement within the Cronos chain, a bit off the beaten path of ETH or POL, for example.

Gemma has been around a bit longer and operates on its own chain. Recently, the token moved from Gemma per se to GMA, an updated version of the chain expected to be completed by the end of October 2025. Gemma is the primary token crypto for Gemma Swap, which provides Discord wallets and a slowly expanding base for a Discord crypto exchange, similar to what Tip.cc provided but at a much smaller scale currently. As coins and chains are added, the list is expanding monthly. The Gemma server is also extremely active with contests, tips, drops and events, all of which add to members and their wallet balances.

Again, exploring opens doors. Be a bit brave, get out there and try new token projects. You might be surprised what you find and begin to develop for your own interests.
