It is again one of these days that scammers around the world are hoping to steal working people's hard earned money, FIAT or CRYPTO. In the past I talked about my experience of having lost 0.06614129 BTC currently worth 3,764 USDT on my article BTC Airdrop Conflict [https://www.publish0x.com/crypto-monkey/btc-airdrop-conflict-xrylxex ] after being scammed by a telegram channel imposing BINANCE DEX and asking people through various bots to provide their BTC funds in their fake BINANCE DEX website in exchange of a double cashback.

Not sure if they are the same ugly people, but right after visiting Youtube trying to watch the previous "NFT Tuesdays" webinar titled "Buying NFTs: Bullish or Bearish? NFT investments" that I missed due to working obligations, I fell on a "Live" interview of Binance's CEO CZ which to be honest I found very interesting as he was talking about his daily routine and Binance projects such as the Binance Card, Tips about investing in cryptocurrencies and their incoming NFT marketplace on a channel called "[Binance] Global".

As I was rally busy with my side projects online, I didn't paid a lot of attention to the announcement which was on the side mentioning that Binance has recently won a lawsuit from SEC that it was accusing the company for providing BNB as a security.

Binance has recently won the lawsuit filed against it by the SEC declaring that BNB was a security. To celebrate, we have devoted a total of 150,000 BNB to be distributed to our community as a way of saying thanks for all the support we received.

So far, the only SEC's lawsuit that is very well known in the crypto world is against Ripple accusing the company for providing XRP as a security. Nevertheless, I was thinking to check that https://www.promo-bnb.net/ later and do my own research if the airdrop was real, although it appeared to me a bit suspicious as I only use Binance's official blog https://www.binance.com/en/blog and twitter channel @binance in order to be informed about Binance's latest promotions and giveaways.

Yet, after a while i was really surprised listening the very same things from CZ taling about his daily routine again and again repeating exactly the same words!!!

Deja Vu? Am i Day Dreaming? I was certain i heard about CZ's daily routine almost fifteen minutes ago!

And that was the moment that I became really suspicious again! I went to check the advertised website and I wasn't surprised to find out that the website wasn't advertising a free giveaway by Binance but the usual way of stealing hard working people's cryptofunds through the internet by asking them to send their funds on a specific address with the promise of a double cashback!!!

As they ancient Greeks used to say:

"No wise man should do the same mistake again"

"Το δις εξαμαρτείν, ουκ ανδρός σοφού"

With the prices of cryptocurrencies and especially BNB currently on the moon, ugly scammers are trying to take advantage of hard working people who would try to earn some extra funds and the easiest way to achieve their malicious goal is to impose real popular websites and cryptoexchanges.

I have already reported the "[Binance] Global" channel as fraud to Youtube in order to take further actions and remove it from their server because it could harm people's lives. I would advise you to do the same.

For the record and hopefully until Youtube will remove the video from their servers, you can find the scammers here:

In fact there was for real an official AMA with Binance's CZ taking place where CZ talks about Customer Support, Binance Card, NFT Platform and more! Future of BNB Coin on the OFFICIAL Binance Youtube channel.

****UPDATE****

However, It seems that these ugly guys are keep cloning Youtube channels and scam websites using the same scam method informing the viewers about a fake BNB airdrop due to the victory against a fake SEC lawsuit and asking them to visit their scam website.

This time they have used another giveaway website www.bnb-fund.org which this time it is asking people to send their Ethereum, Bitcoin or BNB in exchange of a double cashback. But in fact there is no such thing and once they will take your funds they will disappear!

The scam Youtube video has been reported to Youtube and it can be found here until it will be removed.

Finally, here you can find the "NFT Tuesdays" "Buying NFTs: Bullish or Bearish? NFT investments" webinar that I was initially looking for

People can easily get fooled from the easiness of earning cryptos through airdrops and out of their strong FOMO, they just obey the airdrop instructions without hesitation and clear mind. Stay Alert. Stay Safe.

Please in case you have found an "interesting" and "attractive" investment, giveaway or airdrop do your due diligence  and do your own research DYOR about the reliability of the project before proceeding!

Always use the official social media channels of the popular cryptowebsites and cryptoexchanges in order to stay informed. A good approach is to bookmark these links instead of following the newsfeed.

Cryptocurrencies are currently in most countries UNREGULATED which means there is no official compensation support in case you become a victim of a cryptoscam. UK residents however, may report any incident at ACTION FRAUD portal (https://reporting.actionfraud.police.uk/).
