Introduction
For the past 4 years of the crypto boom, Pipeflare has been one of the most adorable and reliable cryptoplatform and together with the deceased GetZen.Cash Faucet and Global Hive (powered by GameStation), it was completing a rather successful trifecta of faucets providing faucet donations in several blockchains such as $ZEN, $ZCash and $Polygon for a long time.
What was Pipeflare ?
Although Pipeflare is quite popular and well-known in the community, although there were several opinions of jealousity branding Pipeflare as a scam according. Therefore, I would to provide a short description about what is or actually what was Pipeflare.
In fact, Pipeflare was a popular Play2Earn faucet and gaming platform where the user could earn various cryptocurrencies such as ZCash (ZEC), Flares (FLR) or Polygon (MATIC) and in the past several other cryptocurrencies such as DogeCoin and Dash. The user could also play several games such as FLARE HIT, BEATBOX by Pipeflare Gaming and FLARE JUMP by Zombie Soup. These games can be described as the classic cases of “incredibly simple, super addictive” games that can reward players with some extra crypto 1FLR coins at the same time.

Extra faucet multipliers were given for daily loyalty according to the following matrix.

But also for connecting the social media accounts such as Facebook, Google, Twitter and Linkedin accounts of the users to ensure their authentication and exclude any malicious actors from using the Faucets.
The platform would included also 3 Tiers of paid subscriptions for its members providing extra benefits such as an auto-faucet feature and privileged airdrops. However, the main disadvantage was the fact that payment methods would exclude Paypal. Also, after jumping into the NFT world, Pipeflare would "venture" special NFT cards to its members providing extra benefits and features and leveraging multipliers such as the Pyro's NFT cards.

Also, Pipeflare, developed a Telegram App which it was actually an odd taping game without providing any real crypto to its users. After the closure of GetZen Faucet of the Horizen Community, the platform announced that the Get.Zen faucet would be incorporated into Pipeflare. Unfortunately, that promise never became a reality.
How the story unfolded
The announcement came into my attention indirectly through a weird but still interesting tweet that caught my eye from the Free Crypto Family Faucets that includes a wide variety of cryptofaucets that are hard to beat... But this is another story...
The main idea of the tweet was a link to a youtube video from the same Free Crypto Faucet Family talking about a latest email from Pipeflare announcing that by March 11th, 2025, the Pipeflare platform will no longer be accessible as the Pipeflare Team is considering their next steps on the cryptoworld.
Here's the transcript of the email as it came into my mailbox too
Dear PipeFlare Community,
We want to share an important update about PipeFlare. After four years of building a gaming community together, we’ve decided to pause the platform as we consider our next steps.
PipeFlare will no longer be accessible starting March 12th, 2025. This decision comes after much thought, and while it’s difficult, we believe it’s the right time to shift our focus.
Since 2020, we’ve valued the support of this community and are grateful for everyone who has joined us on this journey.
Looking ahead, we’re exploring options for the future, which may include a rebrand, a re-launch in 2025, or a pivot into AI gaming. We’re not certain of the outcome yet, but we’ll keep you informed as things develop. For now, our priority is ensuring a smooth transition during this pause.
Key Date to Know:
March 11, 2025 – The last day to access the platform.
What You Need to Do:
You have until March 11, 2025, to log in and complete any pending tasks, such as claiming or withdrawing funds, withdrawing NFTs, or removing any staked 1FLR. After this date, the platform will no longer be accessible.1FLR Token: While the platform is paused, 1FLR will remain tradeable in existing liquidity pools, so you can continue to use and exchange it as normal.
Thank you for being part of PipeFlare. We’ll provide updates when there’s more to share.
Regards,
The PipeFlare Team
In any case, I would like to mention few significant questions that arise from that notorious email notification that have been left unanswered
What is the fate of the personal data including signin credentials and social media accounts links that have been connected to the Pipeflare platform ?
What is the fate of the crypto that have been left unclaimed in the faucet section of the platform ?
What is the fate of the subscriptions that were paid from Pipeflare users in real FIAT money ?
Hopefully, I will still try to keep Pipeflare Team's last worlds that for the near future, they are exploring several other options for the future such as a re-brand, or a re-launch of the platform even within 2025 or even a pivot into AI Gaming since there is still a huge hype on Artificial Intelligence and its applications on the web and the cryptocommunity is exploring ways of combining the Blockchain technology and the AI. And, The Artificial SuperIntelligence Alliance after the merge of the AI Blockchain Technologies of Fetch.AI, SingularityNET's AGIX and Ocean Protocol is an immediate example of this converge. And here is the related youtube video from Free Crypto Faucet Family.
Feax21's Pipeflare Memories
Pipeflare had been a major part of my cryptoactivities. As it was mentioned above, it was part of a special faucet trifecta including the now terminated Horizen Get.Zen faucet and the Global Hive Faucet. Over the years, I managed to accumulate a respectful amount of $ZEC, $POL but also smaller amounts of Doge, Dash and 1FLR.

In fact over these 4 wonderful years I accumulated 0.02035876 $ZEC according to my latest Pipeflare stats

and my last ever $ZEC faucet claim took place on March 9th, 2025.

But it was more than that! Back in 2020, when I first joined Publish0x, I took advantage of my Play2Earn experience with Pipeflare to publish my first ever article on this platform with title "FLARE HIT by Pipeflare.io" but also my article with title "BEATBOX by Pipeflare.io" describing 2 of the most popular games of the platform!
Least but not least, I will never forget the numerous games that I played on Pipeflare while relaxing from my job such as the above mentioned BeatBox and Flare Hit.

Final Thoughts
Unfortunately, the list of the deceased crypto faucets is piling up... Few years ago, the community had been shocked after the termination of operations of the Moon Faucet Family and their dedicated withdrawing platform, CoinPot Wallet. Then it was the Horizen Faucet but also the Global Hive (powered by GameStation) and now the closure of Pipeflare is closing that wonderful circle of faucet withdrawals in $ZEC, $POL but also $ZEN.
Yet, I need to say a great "FAREWELL" to Pipeflare and a great "THANK YOU" for donating several amounts of $ZEC, $POL and $1FLR tokens.+
