I am putting on an experiment of 2 Portfolio's. With easy on-line Brokers which you may have heard of. I created a Robin Hood and a Coinbase account and decided to share with others on which portfolio won the week. I was going to try and do this every week, but depends on how much time I have and how many people actually care to read. Also keeping up with it in a blog kind of opens my eyes wider to my gains/loss. Helps me keep up with the portfolio's and pay more attention to the outcome, hopefully making me a better trader.
This has been a good week and a good time for Stock/Crypto Bulls. Let's hope it can keep going (knock on wood).

Yeah the oldest cliché when trading securities, a saying that trader's must live by. Investing, not so much. Investing you just pick some stocks/crypto's you like and let them ride and maybe rebalance from time to time. Hodl your crypto.
When trading this week I realized I had to spend much more time on the stock markets to keep that money going up. With crypto I just Hodl and let it ride and my profit's doubled with Crypto compared to my Stock portfolio weekly gains. Hey, I am just glad I made gains this week. Thank God because I need it, espicially when it has to become a sort of weekly income to keep food on the table. Which sucks because I will get taxed to hell, yet Amazon and corporation's don't have to pay tax. That's another story, I will go off all night on that subject.
Jan.1, 2021 started off as a pretty good year when it comes to the 2 portfolio's I want to share with others. HAPPY NEW YEAR and I hope you did good to. I'm sure no one care's but hopefully some new investor's looking for what/how/where to invest will gain a little perspective on what can happen if you are a careful trader and/investor/Hodler. Maybe it will help some NEW people looking for examples on how stocks look like vs. Crypto and learning the difference between trading and what to get into. Making the choice of what you are comfortable with. Making that jump into Stocks and Crypto, The Best Game on Earth! Don't be scared and start off slow. If I can help 1 person than I am happy. If it keeps me as a good trader, well that will make me happy too. lol...
Robinhood started off with $1,892.65 and ended the week Jan. 8 with $2,235.33 roughly a 18.17% gain. Not bad when most people look for at least gains of 5%, 7% including tax when selling.

COINBASE started off the week with $1,243.65 and ending the week at $1,848.39. I didn't have to do much with crypto except ride the bull run that is being created by Institutions wanting their piece of the pie. I don't mind if it drops down heavy, if so I will add more. Actually I take that back, I do care if it drops. But my losses will still be gains due to the length of time I have been Hodling my Crypto. Let's hope it stays that way.

Not to bad for the Beggining of the NEW YEAR. Let's all hope we can keep up with the trend, know when to cut your profits and buy back in. Or simply just buy stocks or crypto with a few bucks to begin with and consider holding them for years. Don't just think of next week, think of 1 year from now and beyond. 10-50 years from now when it's time to retire.
