As per the company promoting this, Emrit.io, seems to be a legit company, with an experienced CEO. And i presume they already did the math, according to me, even if only one in four people will use the mining devices, they will still recover the money they invested, given that you will use it long enough. I estimate 2-3 months of mining for them to recover the price of the device.
So the question is, are you being paid $25 for mining $150? I do not know, but could be true. Actually after i read everything better, i found out that they are sending to you 20% of what the device is mining, but i cannot wonder, how much electricity will the device use? And at the moment are created 5 millions HNT per month, divided for all the devices mining it. They will be halved to 2.5 millions in August 2021. So this is with 8641 devices active right now. Meaning that, if the number of devices increase by a factor of x5, the payment decrease by a factor of x5. That is $5, potentially becoming half of it in August. But this seems to be also related with the number of devices in your area. Busy urban area seems to do better than isolate places.
