  1. Zug, Switzerland

Zug has been dubbed the "Crypto Valley" of Switzerland due to its friendly regulatory environment and high concentration of crypto businesses and startups. The city is home to a number of crypto-friendly financial institutions, such as the Zuger Kantonalbank, which offers crypto-related services to its clients. Zug also has a number of tax breaks for crypto businesses and investors. For example, there is no capital gains tax on cryptocurrencies held for more than one year. In the video below you will see how Bitcoin adoption was even applied by a rail transportation company.

  1. Miami, Florida, USA

Miami is one of the most crypto-friendly cities in the United States. The city has a number of crypto-related businesses and startups, and it is home to the Bitcoin 2023 conference, one of the largest crypto conferences in the world. The keynote speaker at this year's conference was the US Presidential Elections candidate Robert F. Kennedy (see image below) In February 2021, the city of Miami announced that it would be accepting Bitcoin payments for city taxes and services. In May 2022, the city of Miami announced that it would be launching its own cryptocurrency, MiamiCoin. Excuse the pun, but coined as the world's first city coin to market, it's performance has not been stable. The one thing in it's favour is the local government supports it and there are incentives for locals to help with the mining and distribution. On this website you can learn more about the MiamiCoin.

Singapore is an attractive Crypto hub as it has generally being receptive to Crypto from the get-go and government has taken an active role in facilitating the blockchain initiatives through regulations and dialogue with major players. Some of the more familiar Crypto projects founded in Singapore include CoinGecko, resource for up-to-date latest data as well as LiteCoin the open-source cryptocurrency.

El Salvador

El Salvador is the first country in the world to adopt Bitcoin as legal tender. The country has a number of initiatives in place to promote the adoption of Bitcoin, such as the Chivo Wallet, which is a government-backed Bitcoin wallet.
