Fond memories of the Xapo wallet

Xapo management started sending out emails to many countries including USA, Venezuela, Ukraine (I'm from Ukraine) ... recommending clients to withdraw funds by December 31, 2020. The notice indicated that Xapo is making significant changes to its operations and is about to launch a regulated digital banking platform to expand its business, prompting customers to transfer their BTC assets to an external address. Buying and receiving bitcoins in the app has also been disabled.

Xapo transformed into a digital bank and moved all operations from California to Gibraltar, which offers a regulatory framework for cryptocurrency firms but sets high standards for authorizations.

At the very beginning, the XAPO wallet was used to collect satoshi from cryptocranes in order to combine payments and make payments with minimal commissions. For this purpose, he did well and was the best (for me personally).

Back in 2014-2015, I very actively used this crypto wallet. All kinds of promotions and bonuses, no transaction fees (unlike Blockhain), incentives from other Xapo partners, encouraged me to use only it. In addition, I bought myself a smartphone and actively started using the Xapo App. For work, you needed an up-to-date mobile phone number and e-mail, since registration confirmation occurs through them. In addition, you must enter your identification data. Without confirmation, the functionality of the wallet was limited.

By the way, I forgot about this wallet, I have not used it since 2017, the earnings on the taps were scanty. But after reading in December about the closure of his account on Xapo, he decided to check how many satoshis there were, it turned out that $ 5 came. I managed to withdraw them to btcbank purses.
