Why should Delhi be on Upland?

I hope it's not too late to submit an entry for the #myupland contest. Even if it is too late, this is one city the team at Upland should seriously consider - DELHI.

Why should Upland open in Delhi? Here are just a few reasons for that

1) Delhi, the capital of India, is home to about 16 million people with an area of about 1,484 sq. km. (573.0 sq. miles). This large surface area makes it ideal for a property trading game.

2) A quick google search shows that India is one of the top five mobile gaming markets in the world in terms of number of users. In the year 2019, online gaming in India was estimated at ₹6,200 crore (US$870 million) market with an estimated 300 million gamers. What better place to tap into this market than the capital of the country?

3) There is evidence to suggest that it has been inhabited continuously since at least the 6th-century BC. And thus has rich cultural and historical significance.

4) Architectural variety can be truly appreciated here. In the Old City, the Mughals and the Turkic rulers constructed several architecturally significant buildings, such as the Jama Masjid—India's largest mosque built in 1656 and the Red Fort. Delhi is home to three World Heritage Sites—the Red Fort, Qutub Minar and Humayun's Tomb. Other monuments include the India Gate, the Jantar Mantar—an 18th-century astronomical observatory—and the Purana Qila—a 16th-century fortress. Examples of more modern architecture include The Laxminarayan Temple, Akshardham temple, Gurudwara Bangla Sahib, the Baháʼí Faith's Lotus Temple and the ISKCON temple. Memorials houses of Mahatma Gandhi and other notable personalities are also located here. New Delhi houses several government buildings and official residences reminiscent of British colonial architecture, including the Rashtrapati Bhavan, the Secretariat, Rajpath, the Parliament of India and Vijay Chowk.
