Greetings to all of you!
I am not that kind of crypto enthusiast who plays every possible blockchain-based game. To be honest I rarely even play any of these games. Today we are gonna talk about one that I do play - CryptoRoyale. Browser-based free to play, play to earn game. And these are the essentials you need to know to start playing yourself.
What is CryptoRoyale?
“Browser-based Battle Royale, where players compete for fame, glory and a little profit. Last man standing wins crypto. No up-front investment. No downloads.”
You can find this on the game page.
Do you know agar.io? This game has some similarities. You spawn in an ever-shrinking arena along with other players. And you have one of three colors - yellow, green or purple. Based on the principle, as from the game rock paper scissors, each color has an advantage over another color - wins any collision with it. See the picture below.

And that's basically the only rule you need to know. A very important element is the boxes that are located in the game and also your boost option.
There are boxes again with these three different colors. When you pick one of the box first you gain health and second your game color changes.
You can boost yourself in any direction - in the direction you aim in with your mouse - by clicking the left mouse button or TAB. And that is literally it.
How and how much can I earn?
As hundreds of new players get into the game daily, the rewards slowly become lower. At the time I discovered the game I was getting 1 ROY for each game on average. Now you get for example 0.08ROY if you place second in a 7 man game.
But good placement is not your only way to get ROY. For every kill you get a box, as well for the “shiny” boxes you pick up in the game. You can open these boxes or use them in the wheel of fortune. I recommend the wheel of fortune more. The rewards from that vary depending on how many boxes you put into it. I don't think there's a limit - I've mostly spun 1,000 boxes at a time.
In addition, I recommend participating in the daily tournaments, and the big weekly tournament, which is always held on Sundays. If you decide not to sell your ROY right away you get a 73% APY staking reward for ROY held. Paid daily. How much ROY you held also increases your reward multiplayer.
Skins can also be found here. Skins are classified into two categories. Win-able skins can be won in the game and then sold to another player for a certain amount of ROY. And Buy-able skins - NFT skins. These can only be purchased, are limited in quantity and are minted as NFT.
So how much?
If you decide to start now you will do it at the right time - when the rewards are still decent. How much you will actually earn varies mainly on your game skill. I have not played for a while, but a month ago I used to get 100 ROY daily - now because of the lower rewards if you give it enough time I can guess you can earn around 50 ROY a day.
I have a funny story about the price of ROY. When I started the game, this token hadn't washed up on CMC yet and I accidentally added another one and assumed it was him. I only found out yesterday that it's something else - the funny thing is that the correct token is worth 0.1xx USD (the price varies quite a bit throughout the day from 0.10 to 0.19). The token I added was worth 0.00x USD, so I was very pleasantly surprised at how much I actually got.

How to cash out? You can withdraw ROY to your Metamask. From there you have to go to the ViperSwap and swap to ONE. ONE is accepted by most exchanges. You can then sell it directly or exchange it for anything you want.
