Today I wanna discuss the Alpha Network. I am a huge fan of the Alpha Network. I have been mining Alpha coins for a few months now.
Unlike Pi or Bee networks the Alpha Network tells you how many coins have been mined and how many coins there are yet to mine. As I am writing this there are 192,061,682 mined and 307,938,318 yet to be mined. So there is a grand total of 500,000,000 total coins that will be mined by the time this coin goes public.
Another reason I love the Alpha Network is the Loot Box. The Loot Box is something you can get every 30 minutes. You can receive anywhere from 1 to 4 coins or 0.10 to 0.20 mining speed increase. Plus, as an added bonus, you can watch an ad and earn three times what the Loot Box gave you. Now I believe you get the mining increase until you have to press the 24 hour mining button. Now this can suck because when you got 20 minutes until you have to mine and you hit the mining max mining increase it’ll still end in the 20 minutes.
What’s pretty great about the Alpha Network project is that since there is only a certain amount of known coins you can mine there is no halving as there is with other coins. So the mining speed you get when you sign up with you will get throughout the mining period. That, to me, is awesome. I absolutely love this part of the project. With the Loot Box bonuses I have gotten a mining speed of more than 3 an hour without any referrals.
When you start mining everyone starts mining at the base rate of 0.50 per hour. You will always mine at this rate. The only way to raise your mining rate without the using the Loot Box is referring your friends and getting them to sign up. You receive 0.20 mining speed for every active referral.
