Yes you heard me right there's actually a Corona Coin (NCOV)! I came across it recently and read the whitepaper.
The total number of coins available = 7,604,953,650 which is actully the world's population of over 7 billion. The coins are pre minted which means it is a fixed supply and no more coins can be mined. As you all know about the COVID-19 virus which had started in China, is now rapidly spreading across the globe. So the coin basically tracks the number of infected people and the number of deaths on the Ethereum blockchain. It is an ERC-20 token. As the number of people keep getting infected and the number of deaths increases the tokens are also burned proportionally. So if one person gets infected one token is burned. So, to get rich you have to expect many of them to keep getting infected or die that way the number of tokens keep getting burned and due to the deflationary nature of the coin the price will shoot up! That's very sadistic if you tell me, buying a coin and hoping people would die so that you could fill your hands with blood money.
The coin is backed by freaking PROOF OF DEATH (POD). Every 48 hrs the tokens are burned based on how many people get infected or die. They've also mentioned that 20% of the cash will go to RED CROSS which I feel is total B.S! As the number of people keep getting infected the size of the donation also will increase. So what's the actual purpose of waiting till everyone gets infected and then donating. If the developers cared that much they could have just set up a charity and then ask for donations. Why create a coin and expect people to buy it and get rich out of it??

The social media groups already have many active members. I didn't bother joining them or interacting with the members. Reading the whitepaper was enough for me to stay away from it.
