Bit2ME Card Overview

Bit2ME Card Overview

By KMatt | Crypto Deep Dive | 3 hours ago

Bit2Me, founded in 2014 in Spain, is a fully MiCA-compliant fintech (great news for European customers). A few years ago, it launched its own debit card with interesting features, but not for everyone.

Card Overview

It's a Mastercard debit card, compatible with Apple Pay and Google Wallet, with no monthly fee, zero commissions on euros, and cashback of up to 7%.

Cashback is linked to the Space Center, the ecosystem's tiered program, which provides access to varying benefits based on the activities performed on the platform and the holding of the native B2M token.

Bit2Me does not require a fixed, locked-up amount, but is based on a Space Center score. Points are accumulated primarily by purchasing, holding, and staking B2M tokens.

Level 1 (1,000 points): A few dozen euros in B2M, 0.25% cashback in B2M (max €7.50 monthly), physical card costs €20 (virtual card is free) and a maximum spending limit of €1,000/day or €5,000/month.

Level 2 (2,000 points): Progressive accumulation of B2M (hundreds of euros) and completion of missions in the app, 0.50% cashback max €15.00/month, physical card €20 and a limit of €1,500/day or €10,000/month.

Level 3 (3,000 points): Holding/staking B2M of a few thousand euros (estimated €3,000), 1% cashback max €30/month, card €10, limit €2,000/day and €15,000/month.

Level 4 (4,000 points): Missions + greater token exposure (about €8,000), 2% cashback max €100 per month, free card, and limits of €2,500 per day or €20,000 per month

Level 5 (5,000 points): Exposure above €18,000 + missions, 3% cashback up to €175, free card, and limits similar to level 4

Levels 6, 7, and 8 have very high exposures and missions to complete, with cashback ranging from 5 to 7%.

That said, Bit2Me is a solid solution, ideal for transparency and regulatory security in Europe. But...is it worth using their card?
As always, it's subjective. If you believe in the platform, are willing to complete missions, and invest capital (high for certain levels), it might be worth it.
But let's be clear: the high cashback is truly for the few and very wealthy. Additionally, there is a 0.95% crypto transaction fee that completely eats up the cashback from the first two levels.
