The trial against Scam King SBF is about to start. The situation before this is soft and hot.

SBF Status

     SBF is detained at the Metropolitan Detention Centre in Brooklyn, New York. Mark Cohen and former prosecutor Christian Everdale are SBF's lawyers on behalf of the Ghislaine Maxwell law firm. SBF's $250m bail was rejected too.

DoJ's Preparation 

     SBF's ex-girlfriend Caroline Ellison and old friend Gary Wang are turned into government witnesses. Nicholas Ross and former Supreme Court clerk Danielle Sassoon are the prosecutors. But no campaign finance charges under government pressure.

The Trail

     SBF faces 7 federal fraud charges involving his hedge fund, Alameda Research, and the exchange FTX. The 6-week trail starts on October 3rd in the court of Federal Judge Lewis Kaplan of the Southern District of New York.
