A research report released on January 25, 2023, by cryptocurrency tax firm Recap Technologies Limited called London, the capital of England, the "most-ready city" for cryptocurrency. Dan Howitt of Recap Company has praised Rishi Sunak's policies for this.
Better Than El Salvador and CAR?
You must be wondering how London is there in the first place when El Salvador has the most freedom for crypto. That's what I thought too, but, San Salvador, the capital of El Salvador, comes in at number 40 on the list,w hile not a single city in the Central African Republic has made it there.
Reason is ranking system
This ranking by Recap Technologies Is based on a set of 8 selected criterias which compares a city's cryptocurrency business, usage, conferences, and eight elements related to the city's economic potential and life expectancy.
Restrecting Regions Also Included
Recap has listed the top 50 in its research, with London at the top and Ankara, the capital of Turkey, at the bottom. Cities in countries where crypto is banned are also on this list, such as the two Nigerian cities of Lagos and Ibadan. Cities in countries where crypto business is suppressed are also on this list, such as the three Indian cities of Coimbatore, Bangalore, and Delhi.
Is This List Nutral or Baised?
Recap company is based in UK, and it's most of its business is also based in UK, and some in US, South Africa, so this is possible that its report is not based on foolproof data.
