     Coinbase Payments has partnered with Shopify – a necessary move, as venturing into the e-commerce space without initial platform backing would be difficult. This partnership also opens up a significant market for USDC adoption. Much now depends on whether users find the system simple and beneficial to use.

My Point:

     If Coinbase Payments succeeds in attracting crypto-savvy e-commerce users, it’s likely that platforms beyond Shopify will adopt it. Meanwhile, USDT may need to seek out its own role in the e-commerce landscape—remaining confined to exchanges will no longer be enough to maintain influence.
