Blockchain is the New FDI to Rise Fund, Says Binance CEO

By Yugocean | Crypto Champion | 28 Jul 2022

Changpeng Zhao (CZ), the CEO of Binance, asserts that he has never encountered a government that opposes foreign direct investment (FDI). CZ has linked blockchain to FDI, referring to it as the "most direct way" for entrepreneurs to raise money locally and globally. This is done in recognition of the potential for cryptocurrencies to increase jobs and talent in areas other than the crypto industry.

Around The World

The fact that CZ has travelled extensively and interacted with influential politicians from many nations gives him a sense of global experience. CZ has also met with heads of state during his global visits, such as Yoweri Museveni, president of Uganda, in 2018, Nayib Bukele, president of El Salvador, a proponent of Bitcoin, in March 2022, and Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, president of Kazakhstan, a supporter of crypto mining, in May 2022. CZ most recently had conversations with Presidents Alassane Dramane Ouattara of the Ivory Coast and Macky Sall of Senegal during his July 2022 trip to Africa.

Sarcastic Challenge

Even more so, CZ poked fun at closing crypto firms by using the issue of his meeting with the presidents as Binance's inviting points to investors in exchange platforms.

Thoughts

In an era when the digital economy is expanding so quickly around the world, stopping it will simply halt our nation's progress. The future economy could be influenced by cryptocurrencies.
