NFTz Zone is an NFT marketplace on the $DESO blockchain, for those who may not know. It got an update about a month ago, hence the 2.0 in the title. I have been using NFTz and the $DESO blockchain, along with their social media app Diamond, for about three months now, and have really enjoyed my experience.
Now that we know a bit about what NFTz even is, let's discuss the improvements in the update.
First of all, the UI has been updated drastically, and it makes a huge difference for both sellers and buyers as far as ease of use. Before the update, NFTz was my primary way of minting NFTs, but I found it too difficult to use as a buyer and opted for Polygram instead. Now, I would say NFTz is easier to use as a buyer than the competition, and sleeker.
As a buyer, there is now a main page with featured artists and collections, as well as data for top sellers and such in the past 24 hours. These features are great as both a buyer and a seller, because making the 24 hour list gets you more visibility as a seller.
As a seller, the minting is now done on its own page rather than as a popup window. This makes it much more responsive, and gives it the space it needs to allow for the addition of collection data, and traits and properties.
It also now has the option to make posts from within NFTz itself that will appear on your feed in Diamond and other nodes.
Overall, I'm highly satisfied with this enormous update, and I can't wait to see what else the NFTz team has in store for us.
