So, we've heard it a lot, stock experts, economists and entrepreneurs of the olden generations are declining and, for the most part, not even understanding what it even is that Crypto is attempting to accomplish and why it is in a way something they themselves tried to do once before, but they just can't see it cause it is not within their range of grasping. A quote from one of those people, senator Elizabeth Warren:
"Cryptocurrency has created opportunities to scam investors, assist criminals, and worsen the climate crisis. The threats posted by crypto show that Congress and federal regulators can't continue to hide out, hoping that crypto will go away. It won't. It's time to confront these issues head-on."

She is far off from being cryptos biggest hater but I think the picture is conveyed properly as to what similar people think about crypto.
A lot of the reasoning behind their misunderstanding and frankly hate, comes down to digitalization. Most of us have had at least some contact with computers, phones and tech in general from a young age. Even if you haven't, you took the time to learn a bit more about it for a multitude of reasons, which already put you ahead of the curve. Most of these people haven't experienced this, if they've had experience with tech it likely wasn't anywhere near the levels we've had and they often times have no reliance on it, which has it's benefits. Doubting everything digital is not one of those benefits however.
As the generations of the future we're investing in what is the future and what will be beneficial for us in the long term. Older generations are the opposite, their prime is over and all they are attempting to do is keep what they have already as it is so it can benefit them as long as possible, aka until they die. Logical thinking might dictate "But don't they want a better future for others, or their children..." and that is true, that's how human beings should think but it's not how these people think... as we've seen through their destruction of the planet itself through global warming and the lack of attempt to stop it... I digress.

This entire thing is highlighted by who these people are. Warren Buffet, a stock investor; Donald Trump, a... businessman; Elizabeth Warren, a senator and law professor... (these are just recent examples) all wealthy individuals that have their investments and money set up in different institutions that are, to us at least, no longer as relevant. With the rise of crypto, banks, stocks and even laws (since it is decentralized) have all lost a part of the power they used to hold.
Banks are no longer the only place where you can safely store money and earn interest or get loans.
Stocks are no longer the only way for people to invest and trade.
Laws for the most part don't or can't easily have an effect on crypto.
They all gain something from countering crypto and that is obvious. In a way, them hating on crypto is great since it shows they are scared, they want it to stop being as successful as it is so they can continue to gain wealth unchecked and unphased. Crypto is the answer to exactly this, people monopolizing wealth, and not all crypto is aimed at this obviously, every coin has it's reasoning and way of functioning but I think we can all agree that it is the future. And they are scared of the future, the future in which they don't control everything.
So we should all be as bullish as possible whenever one of em says something negative about crypto, cause it shows that we're succeeding!
