This Crash needed to happen and the Bear isn't even done yet

It seems that a lot of people either weren't expecting the crash and are reeling or they are trying hard to explain to themselves that it's just a small correction, nothing to worry about. Some of them have gone so far as to attempt to draw connections between different periods of large dips like the entirety of 2017, the end of the bull market in 2018, etc.

So what's so different this time around when compared to then? I for one am not an expert but from the different opinions I've heard the most logical one seemed to be that at the time no one expected a dip of 30-40% to happen and afterward for BTC, as well as other coins, to somehow continue to trend upwards. It was an unexpected thing and that is why it happened partially.

This time around everyone expects and want the bull run to continue, therefore people aren't scared at all that it might continue to be a bear market they just think it'll go on endlessly. Or at least they thought so until now because all of the corrections were "normal" and didn't cause a panic. Now, with this most recent crash of around 50% from it's all time high (BTC), people are selling off alts in bulk and panicking in a similar manner to the correction from 2017. This difference is what can tell us whether or not the market will continue to fall or not. It's in the sentiment.

People are now unsure of what might happen, they are selling some of what they have and coins are still dropping and they will quite likely continue to do so for at least a bit longer. This isn't all bad either, every bull market has it's positives, especially the good buying opportunities and on Publish0x specifically, the tipping tool becomes more powerful cause you are getting more than what you would in a bull market (in both quantity and future profits).

Last thing is, I have no clue what is actually going to happen, it's all theoretical and analytical and all that other bull... market stuff. So take it as you want, I'm just giving one of the possible takes.
