r/WallStreetBets Shows the Power of the People. DeFi Continues to Dominate; $UNI, $XRP, $HNT, $Theta

By Aware1 | Crypto Awareness | 31 Jan 2021

Actions this past week inspired by the Reddit group r/wallstreetbets have shown the world and current financial system the power people possess when they work together.

First, its was stocks like GameStop and BlackBerry, and now their attention has focused on the cryptocurrency sector. Doge saw its price increase 800% in a matter of days and now XRP and XLM are receiving some attention from the crypto-focused r/satoshistreetbets.

DeFi tokens with governance features are also a hot commodity, with projects like Uniswap, Compound, Sushiswap and Curve DAO seeing nice gains in recent days as the total value locked in DeFi continues to increase.

Helium continues to grow its network in terms of mining nodes and new partners for the ecosystem and continues to offer one of the simplest ways for the average crypto enthusiast to get involved with mining at a low cost.

Also keep an eye on Morpheus Network (MRPH) and 0chain (ZCN), as they have been performing well lately and have possible promising partnership developments on the horizon.

My saying is "It's not about what you do, it's about being aware of what you do." My journey has been filled with ups and downs, positives and negatives, but the experience has been fantastic. Now I look to help others find the joy in their journey.

I discuss a variety of topics from across the crypto-verse, pointing to some developing trends that I see on the long term horizon. With so much news and FUD out there, it can be difficult to know what is actually going on with the cryptocurrency space and where the major developments are taking place. I hope to simplify this process for people as well as add my perspective on where things are and where things may possibly go.
