Why Phantom is the preferred wallet of choice on Solana?

We have multiple wallets on multiple blockchains, but when it comes to Solana, there is one that people prefer to use. And that’s Phantom. 

Here are the reasons why:

1. Most projects add Phantom to their wallet connection list, and recommend it to their users!

2. You can list your NFTs to Magic Eden from within the app! 

3.  Swaps within Phantom are free and go through Jupiter swap aggregator - in that way, you don’t have to worry about having to go to Raydium website or any other exchange. You swap within Phantom and you’ll always get the best price! (this is the proprietary reason why I chose to use Phantom)

4. Phantom is going multi-chain - that means you wont have to download bunch of wallets to use different chains! (You can access this feature now with beat code!)

The only downside I have noticed, is that it takes a bit longer to update your token balances when compared to Solflare for example. Other than that, all wallets feature pretty much the same functionality!
