Here I'll write down, in short words, my ideas for the methods: how to MOON Crypto.

Method I:

Advanced Airdrop!

1) Take the crypto of your choice (or just create a new token - however, I'd recommend: stick to already existing solutions, there's tons of them).
2) Prepare a BIG token amount available for Advanced Airdrop.
3) Create a website with a "registering interface" to make people register with a QR code. (Note: this has nothing to do with the blockchain yet.)
4) Create QR codes that resemble the registering codes for the site.
5) Create printouts ("flyers") with these QR codes on them - each printout with a different barcode!
6) Distribute the flyers in MASSES on every channel you possibly can. Mailings, distro people, airplanes, helicopters (helicopter money ;) ).
7) People receiving the flyer will scan the QR code and register the site you created (at least some of them will). Each registration should be unique (or does it have to be? You decide! You could, for example, make only one registration for each Ledger people own ... it's unlikely people will buy dozens of Ledger just to get your token - and even if, so be it...?).
8) Give each registered person a new address on your new or existing token chain. In this step, the new person gets the address and also has to back up his/her secret phrase.
9) Wait for registration period to finish - end date is strongly recommended, otherwise you probably won't efficiently administer the ever-trickling-in registrations.
10) Now you do the Airdrop! Divide the prepared token amount by amount of registrations and send that amount to each of the addresses that you created in the process.
11) Everybody now has their tokens.

By the huge amount of flyers that you distribute, you will inevitably get more people to check up on that thing and kick-start its usage.

Why not just airdrop paperwallets? Because people might hoard or collect these and then you just have a few people with all the tokens...
