Tax rates on cryptocurrencies in 2021 and 2024 in the world

By Lazy Bear | Crypto and world | 20 Nov 2024

I have been interested in the topic of cryptocurrencies since 2013. I remember many discussions on crypto forums where they then discussed crazy ideas that cryptocurrency would someday be adopted at the legislative level in the world.

It seemed strange at the time.

But as the years passed, cryptocurrency in many countries was not only legalized, but also taxed.

I decided to make a table in which I want to show how, in just a few years, the tax base in relation to cryptocurrencies has changed.

The table will show 2 years: 2021 and 2024, where the interest rates on taxes on profits on cryptocurrency will be indicated.

Where multiple rates are indicated, it means that countries have different taxes on different amounts of profit.

As you can see, in just 3 years, the taxation picture of cryptocurrencies has changed in many countries.

Today, the government no longer wants to ignore cryptocurrencies, but prefers to impose high taxes.
