You might have heard the term GPT-3 (Generative Pre-trained Transformer ) by now and if you haven't, its a AI language model that uses machine learning to predict and make human like actions. The way GPT-3 behaves is absolutely mind boggling. 

• From creating applications.
• Websites
• Content Generation
• Writing Essays.     

  The list goes on and on. Few days back an Essay written by Gpt-3 just won first prize for the best content. Some researchers gave it a task of writing an Essay 'To Convince us Robots come in Peace' , to which an essay generated by Gpt-3 was quite scary and a result of some brilliant AI.

The quote which really scares me is this one:

While analyzing chat between Two Gpt-3 bots it was evident that in the near future they might even out smart humans, so the question arises, with Gpt-3 doing the work of programmers, content creators, designers, auto text summarizer, people will start to lose their jobs, why would employers pay employees thousand of dollars for something that could be done efficiently and cheaply. We might be soon living in a world where Robots will walk along side us in streets. 

It is alarming for people with jobs to skill up their abilities and work even harder otherwise their jobs could be taken away from AI Bots. So, with these language models being produced, human kind could be in for something really amazing with its newer versions e.g. Gpt-4  or we could be moving towards our own extinction. 

BUT! As said earlier its not the technology but its us who make the technology good or bad. 

So lets see what the future has to offer with newer versions of GPT to come.
