Hello everyone! In today's post, I'll discuss about the COLONY token of the Arcade Colony ecosystem. If you are familiar with Splinterlands, the COLONY token serves the same purpose as SPS. It is the reward earned from playing the game, serves as a governance token within the Arcade Colony ecosystem and as a reward multiplier if you stake them. Unlike SPS that only raises the rewards in Splinterlands, staking COLONY affects all games in the Arcade Colony ecosystem such as Moon Karts, Hyperrail Blaster and Stakehouse Den.

Buying COLONY

I've been buying COLONY here and there, not as much as I would like since most of my gaming funds are in Splinterlands. I placed the COLONY I bought in liquidity pools to earn while Stakehouse Den is not yet live but now I'm going to withdraw them and stake them instead.

I also tried to buy COLONY using DSWAP's DCA feature but unfortunately, my trade is still stuck. I raised the issue and still waiting for a reply.

Staking COLONY

Next is to transfer the COLONY tokens in Arcade Colony wallet.

My staked COLONY will serve as a reward multiplier in all Arcade Colony games similar to SPS in Splinterlands.

Playing Stakehouse Den

I played some Blackjack and earned a bit of COLONY. I need to stake more to increase my staking factor and increase my rewards.

Blackjack is my favorite game in Stakehouse Den so far. In the future, Poker will be added. It looks like it would be a more competitive game with multi player features. Stakehouse Den along with all Arcade Colony games will be available on mobile, potentially increasing players.

What's great about Stakehouse Den is you don't lose money when you lose a bet. Remember that I bet soulbound Hotsauce tokens that was earned from staking. So you don't lose real money when you lose in Stakehouse Den.
