Hello Everyone! A few days ago, I visited the in game market to buy NFTs and try the race for the first time. Unfortunately, the script tokens I sent did not go through due to the Ddos attack on hive-engine. Thanks to @aggroed and team it's already fixed and I was able to buy my first Moon Karts NFTs.

These are just the basic NFTs to try the game and get a feel for it. I bought a Kart and Driver which are required to start racing.

My First Kart

My first kart is the Astro Kart. It's a basic run of the mill kart. Although it's not that competitive, it seems to have decent stats. It's an entry level kart for beginners to try the game.

My First Driver

For the driver, I got Turbo. He's not a speed demon like Blaze but his best stat is handling, meaning he's good at turns. He is a great driver for beginners in my opinion. It's more important to master the turns and controlling the kart in racing games rather than have a lot of speed.

My First Race

I tried to set up a race in multi player mode with my basic NFTs.

It seems I need fuel which is the currency to be able to earn in the game. I'll discuss about fuel in my next post.

I entered the race anyway to try the game but after waiting for a while, no other player was available so I just tried single player instead.

A Difficult Drive and Handling

My first drive at the race track was a bit difficult. My kart always end up on the side of the road making it hard to progress. I can't control my kart very well and my handling was bad. For my first drive my time was 198 seconds in one lap. I'll have to practice more and see how this goes before I try multiplayer mode.
