Hello Everyone! In my last post, I tried to enter into multi-player racing. However, to earn tokens in a multi-player race, a player needs fuel. In my case, my fuel consumption is 1.9. How can I acquire fuel for a chance to earn tokens in multi-player races? That will be the topic in today's post.
How to Acquire Fuel
Fuel can be acquired in two ways:
- Generating Fuel, and;
- Trading.
Generating Fuel through Card Staking
Players will have to stake cards in the Auto Vault to generate fuel. The rate of fuel generation depends on the rarity and type of the staked cards. Higher rarity cards will yield fuel at a faster rate. Each card's individual fuel output is combined to calculate the total generation rate. Players will have to strategize card selection for maximum fuel accumulation.
How to Stake Cards
The Auto Vault can be found in the lower left corner of the screen.
Clicking Auto Vault will bring you to your available cards that can be staked. In my case, I only have on common card. This card will only generate 0.8 fuel per day. If I stake more cards then that means more fuel per day and if I have higher rarity cards, then the time to produce fuel will be decreased.
It's not enough to just stake cards, players also need to stake two script tokens for each card staked. I already staked two script tokens but it seems there's no way to unstake it. So actually it's like paying two script tokens for each card staked. In this case, it's optimal to stake higher level and higher rarity cards to maximize the script you paid for. You can always unstake and change the card unlike the script tokens.
After staking cards and paying script tokens, I'm all set to generate fuel and I can claim after twenty four hours from the time of staking.
The other way to acquire fuel is to buy it from other players. However, there is no fuel trading yet in the game.
Trading Fuel
Fuel can be transferred in game by clicking Transfer Fuel button above the Shop button in the lower left side of the screen.
Players will have the option to input the amount of fuel and the Hive account ID to transfer to.
As I mentioned, fuel trading is not yet available in game but you can trade fuel through discord at the rate of four script tokens per one fuel. You have to be careful with who you deal with though. Alternatively, there may some kind soul who will give you fuel for free.
In a few days, I'll have enough fuel to test multi-player racing. I'm not expecting much though since my kart's control is terrible but it will be fun to see how I stack up against others.
