Dear all Crypto users,
I hope this email finds you well. I am writing to bring to your attention a disturbing experience I recently had with Guarda Wallet, a cryptocurrency wallet service. As a loyal user of publish0x, I believe it's crucial to shed light on this issue to prevent others from falling victim to similar scams.
I recently utilized Guarda Wallet's services to access a crypto loan using BTC collateral while my ETH was staked. However, what ensued was a nightmare that left me questioning the integrity of Guarda Wallet and the safety of my assets.
Despite repaying the loan in a timely manner, my collateral HAS NOT YET returned, resulting in a loss of approximately $249. This delay alone is frustrating, but it pales in comparison to the subsequent events that unfolded.
Following the unstaking of my ETH and the repayment of my loan, I exchanged my ETH to BTC using Guarda Wallet's exchange service. Soon after, all of my BTC holdings, totaling more than BTC 0,082, were mysteriously transferred without my authorization to the following address: bc1qw57e78mygqckkvqxaxkuqazsm8wuqy5w2kqe5l.
When I reached out to Guarda Wallet's support team for assistance, I was met with dismissive responses and a complete lack of accountability. Instead of addressing the security breach or assisting me in any meaningful way, I was essentially told to fend for myself and seek help from local authorities.
As someone who has never compromised my account security or shared my private keys, I find it deeply troubling that such unauthorized transactions occurred immediately after using Guarda Wallet's services. It is my firm belief that Guarda Wallet is either complicit in these fraudulent activities or has grossly neglected its duty to uphold the security and integrity of its platform.
I implore you to consider sharing my story with your readers to raise awareness about the dangers of trusting Guarda Wallet with their assets. No individual should have to endure the stress and financial loss caused by such blatant negligence and deceit.
Thank you for considering my request, and I remain hopeful that by sharing my experience, we can prevent others from falling victim to Guarda Wallet's scams.
Sincerely
A victim of Guarda's scam.
