A very good day to all my readers. In this short article I am going to provide you with the idea about what the future of internet will look like. Before starting lets start talk about the brief history of internet.

 We are currently in the web 2.0 phase of the internet. Before coming to this phase we have already came a long way by going through phase web 1.0 of the internet. And afterwards I will share my thoughts on web 3.0 by explaining all about it.

 WEB 1.0

 Firstly when we talk about something we go from the start , likewise incase of internet it is nothing but the first phase also referred as Web 1.0 . In this only the companies were allowed to show their stuff and the end user can only watch it or consume it and cannot do anything else with it. This the internet of the early phase i.e. from early 1990s to 2005.

 WEB 2.0

 As we previously known that web 1.0 does not allow users to create content or interact with it , all of which changed after the introduction of Web 2.0 . Currently we are living in the web 2.0 space. Here the dominance of of social media became very popular and people can interact with each other as well as post their own content on the web. Till this stage people were not owning the internet.

 WEB 3.0

Now after completing the web 2.0 phase of the internet we are moving towards a new phase mainly referred as the web 3.0 . In web 3.0 we are going to see a lot of radical changes happening on how we see the internet. In this phase people can actually own a piece of the internet by means of monetary and elsewise. In this phase the metaverse i.e. the virtual world will be a huge driving factor and people will interact with it it more. All the banking systems and monetary systems will be based on decentralization and the payments and settlements will be done through the deployment of smart contracts on the internet which is the web 3.0 . As it is based on the blockchain technology all of it will be decentralized ad will be open for participation of all. It will also include the likes of big data and machine learning.

 My thoughts on WEB 3.0

 Well according to me web 3.0 is as real as saying salt come from the ocean . So we are really moving to a new dimension of the internet where we the people can really own a small piece of it. So even if the web 2.0 is not here yet kit is very likely to be an integral part of our daily life soon.
