Crypto taxes - Let's not forget that crypto trading is a taxable event

Crypto is a complex and often confusing market, and the more information we have, the better we can protect ourselves and our investments.

Do you know you do NOT have to pay taxes in Germany if you hold your crypto for one year or longer?

But, if you trade your crypto-to-crypto or crypto-to-fiat, that is a taxable event, and you must set aside enough money to pay your taxes.

If you live in Germany, your best option may be to buy BTC or ETH during the Bear market and hold it in cold storage until the next Bull run.

While digital security is crucial, it's important to remember that physical security for our devices is equally vital.

Digital security is important, but let's not forget that protecting our portfolios from accidents (e.g., fire or water) or robberies is important.

How many people have lost their crypto to a house fire, flooding, or just a plain robbery?

While more seasoned Crypto investors may have taken steps to protect their wallets and seed phrases, more rookie Crypto investors may know yet have the knowledge and experience to take the steps to fully protect the devices that grant access to their crypto assets.
