I have a very strong opinion as to what's going on, and I'm sure most of you do as well. The stuff going on in the world today is extremely complex and experts around the world do a much better job explaining what's going on then I could. Now, I won't be talking about the war directly going on in the Middle East, where Ukraine really what I will be talking about is surrounding circumstances, things that I find to be important and relevant, and things that I will connect very clearly back to what we're doing here as it pertains to the cryptocurrency industry.Just a few days ago, on October 4th, we had an alert system go off in the United States.A test of the FEMA emergency system where if you recall, everyone's phone exploded with probably the most insane noise you've heard it make in your entire life. This was so unexpected and so loud that it even caused some Amish people to be outed as iPhone owners within their communities and thus shunned from the Amish community as they're not supposed to own iPhones.
Were you aware that according to Reuters here, apparently an almost identical test in Russia occurred on the exact same day, October 4th, where attention remain calm, blared from the public warning system across Russia? To try to stay as unbiased as possible, I just asked Chachi BT what countries Russia historically supported in the Middle East. What countries in the Middle East has Russia slash USSR historically supported?Egypt, Syria, Iraq, Iran, Yemen, Afghanistan, Libya, Palestine, Algeria.
Now I'm going to get to crypto here in a second. But as you can see here, obviously the US has historically strongly reported Israel in the region and historically been at war with countries like Iraq, Afghanistan. And of course, we have a ton of hostile conversations and very tense relations with countries like Iran. And Speaking of Iran, we've seen some pretty troubling reports specifically trying to allege that the attack from Hamas was funded by Iran and that this was directly tied to money that was unfrozen by the Biden administration recently. And this was laid out in an article from the Wall Street Journal saying Iran literally helped plot this attack and execute it.But what's pretty shocking here is that the actual IDF spokesperson has denied this.So obviously you know that the United States is currently supporting the Ukraine against their battle with Russia, incredibly so, in a very intense way.the United States is supporting Israel along with the rest of the NATO allies.
It's very clear that the West, United States and NATO are supporting Israel directly, explicitly, implicitly. And the very same is true of Ukraine.I think it's pretty clear that you have two conflicts in two parts of the world where effectively the same coalitions are backing different sides. I feel like the amount of information that we have as to what's really going on behind the scenes is very little. But I can tell you what it appears to me is that there is a conflict that has dated back to really the end of World War 2 with the tensions between the United States and the Soviet Union and continues to this day.And I'm not saying that that's the cause or the catalyst that sparked off what's going on in the Middle East.
But I'm saying that when you look at what's happened since then, as people have geared up and supported both sides, it's a continuation in a step forward, an escalation in the tensions between the East and the West effectively. So what does that mean for the economy?Well, the economy, as you well know, as we've been covering, is in a very weird place. There's never been this much debt in the system. There's never been this much strain on the American economy and your average worker is struggling to keep up with inflation and so, So the United States is in a very tricky place where it really desperately needs to start injecting some money into the economy to keep the trains moving. But it can't do that because it risks running inflation even hotter. And so the question here is, will the United States choose to print money to get involved in some of these wars?
What happened this weekend?
