How to Be a Cryptocurrency Super Affiliate-An Action Plan For Affiliate Marketing Beginners

Recently, I wrote a post for a brand new training academy I am putting together about How to Earn Free Cryptocurrency with affiliate marketing and I thought I would expand on that post a little here and put together more of an action plan for those who are interested in generating referrals through their affiliate link.

It seems like almost every crypto platform you join these days has an affiliate program and you hear about these people who are referring 100's and 1000's of members to the platform and raking in some serious coins in the process.

You want to be one of those people, right?

If so, then make sure to soak in as much of the following information as you possibly can, because you have a real opportunity to become a super affiliate just by using the information you find here.

If you want more in-depth over the shoulder video training to show you how it's done step-by-step then make sure to sign up for Beginner Affiliate Academy where you will have access to an entire academy of video training that teaches you how to be a top affiliate marketer. It's free to join and the training is invaluable.

First off...

What is Affiliate Marketing?

351665157-396d49e5e5954751b61005c8d7b4c53abae9165f7c5194dbdc6f369ee0570aae.pngTo put it simply, affiliate marketing is an online referral program that helps businesses connect with customers. Think of it as kind of a "refer a friend" program (except one where you don't have to bother your family and friends).

What happens is, when you sign up as an affiliate for a business, the business will give you what is called an affiliate link or a referral link that you can give to other people to get them to buy a product such as a token or a coin or try a service.

Your job is to get your link in front of as many potential customers as you possibly can.

When a potential customer/buyer/subscriber clicks on your link and checks out the product/service you are promoting this is what is known as traffic or visitors.

When someone who clicks on your affiliate link actually takes action and buys the product/service you are recommending this is what is known as conversions.

Your goal is to drive as much traffic to your affiliate link as possible so that you have a better chance of increasing your conversions, and as you are well aware, the more conversions you get, the more free coins and tokens you get.

Before we get started discussing different ways to get traffic, let's talk about some do's and don'ts that you should be aware of as an affiliate.

Do's and Don'ts of Affiliate Marketing

The following is a short list of do's and don'ts that you want to be aware of before you go out spreading your link everywhere you can. Sticking to these guidelines will help you avoid a lot of misery and pain while helping you grow your affiliate marketing business to the top.

Do's

Be a Problem Solver

One of the biggest pieces of advice I can give you as you begin your journey into affiliate marketing is to look for problems that people are currently having, and position the product/service you are promoting as the solution to that problem. By solving people's problems, you will gain instant credibility and authority plus you will gain some very loyal followers that remember you as the person who helped them solve a problem they were having.

So let's say for example that I am promoting the Brave Browser because I want to earn the $5 in BAT they are giving away for every person I refer.

What are some of the problems that people currently have with other browsers that Brave helps solve?

You could talk about the privacy features that are built in, the ad-blocking technology, or the fact that you can earn free cryptocurrency for looking at ads that pop up.

Then, through content you create such as a blog post, video, or social media post you will position Brave as the solution to those problems.

The more problems you can solve, the more traffic you will generate, and the more conversions you will get from that traffic because you have given people exactly what they need.

Create Content on a Consistent Basis

No matter what type of traffic strategy you are using to promote your cryptocurrency affiliate offers it is very important to create content on a consistent basis.

You want to be able to build an audience who loves reading your blog posts, loves watching your videos, and loves reading your social media posts because the larger your audience is the less effort it will take you to generate traffic each time you have an affiliate offer to promote.

When you create content on a consistent basis people get used to you showing up and being there for them. If you fail to create content consistently then your audience will slowly begin to fade, and with the way things are these days, it won't be long before they find someone else to help them solve their problems or give them the information they are looking for.

Think about your favorite YouTuber or Blogger and the reasons that you tune into their channel or read their posts.

These are the same reasons people are going to be tuning into you.

Now think about how you would feel if that person you have been watching for so long and reading posts from for so long decided to take a break for a few months.

You would probably feel abandoned and betrayed or maybe even a little worried that something had happened to that person, and that is something you never want to put your audience through.

There are a lot of huge advantages to building an audience through creating content consistently, just remember to never let that audience down.

Re-purpose Your Content As Much as Possible

Re-purposing your content allows you to spread the same message through different channels. Not everyone learns the same, so the same person who just spent 30 minutes reading a blog post you wrote might not spend 5 minutes to watch a video you put together. On the other hand, someone who just watched a 5 minute video you published might not be too eager to go over and read a 30 minute blog post.

One of the biggest mistakes I see people make in affiliate marketing is failing to distribute their content correctly.

They spend 4 hours researching and putting together a blog post and the blog post does well, but then the person never does anything else with that blog post.

How hard would it be to take the research that you did for that blog post and put together a short little video giving the highlights of that research and then post it to YouTube?

Not very hard at all.

Think of all the possible ways that you can use every piece of content you create, because it will create less work for you while allowing you to unlock all of the traffic potential for your content.

Don'ts

Don't Spam

This is the most important thing you will ever learn as an affiliate marketer. If you spam your link anywhere then people are going to immediately write you off as a spammer or scammer and they will block you, blacklist you, and delete you from their life faster than you can say Satoshi.

Places where you see the most spammers are in social media groups. This is especially true for Telegram but is also true for Facebook, Twitter, Whatsapp, and all of the other social networks as well.

Instead of simply showing up in a group and plopping down your link for people to join, try adding some value to your post and then giving your link.

Remember, our job as affiliates is to be problem solvers so focus on a problem that people within the group you are promoting in are currently having and then position the affiliate product you are promoting as the solution to that problem.

Don't Be a Used Car Salesman

Sure, there is a little bit of salesmanship needed to be successful in affiliate marketing but there is no need to turn into a used car salesman.

You don't have to go shouting at the top of your lungs about all of the great features that are built-into a certain coin, token, browsers, game, platform, etc...

Again, it all goes back to focusing on being the solution to the problems people are currently having.

You can shout about features and do dads and gidgets and widgets until the cows come home but those things are not what hit home with people. It's the personal aspect that only you can provide by solving their problems.

Don't Promote Anything That Could Be a Scam

There are a lot of scams in cryptocurrency and it can be easy to get lured in by the promise of big commissions or high returns. As a rule of thumb, stay away from anything that looks like an MLM or pyramid scheme because these are the most sure-fire ways to lose not only your money but the people you refer will also lose their money.

If you wouldn't recommend your mom or a close family member to join something then you probably shouldn't be promoting it to someone else.

Don't Give Up

The number one reason people fail in affiliate marketing is because they give up on themselves too soon.

If you have never tried to become an affiliate marketer before then there is a lot to learn and a lot to take in. It's a process that you almost have to learn as you go, because not everyone is going to have the same marketing style. Not everyone looks the same, talks the same, or builds the same connection with their audience so there is a lot of "trial by fire" that you have to go through before you put together a system that works.

It can be frustrating when you are trying your best and still not getting the results you are looking for.

You'll get discouraged, feel down, and want to throw in the towel but if you just stick with it and get through those times when you feel those things, then you are going to come out the other side with a feeling of gratitude that you've never had because you didn't quit and you didn't give up on yourself.

These are normal things that every entrepreneur goes through and as an affiliate marketer you are building an affiliate marketing business so that makes you an entrepreneur too!

No matter how bad things look, Never Give Up!

Now, let's talk about a few popular places that you can sign up that have affiliate programs that allow you to earn free cryptocurrency for everyone you refer through your affiliate link.

This list will be updated shortly with other cryptocurrency affiliate programs that you can join and start promoting, but for now this is enough to get you started.

Now let's get into the good stuff!

3 Essentials Every Cryptocurrency Affiliate Marketer Should Have

There are 3 things that every affiliate marketer should have if they want to be taken seriously and make the most commissions possible.

These 3 essential tools are:

  • Domain Name
  • Web Hosting
  • Wordpress

These are absolute essential must-haves if you are even considering getting into affiliate marketing.

Let me tell you a little bit about each one so that you can familiarize yourself with what they are and why they are needed.

Domain Name

You need to have a domain name (preferably a .com or .net) so that you can establish yourself as a brand.

Before choosing your domain name you should take the time to consider what the content of your website/blog is going to be about. This will help you determine the best domain name to represent your brand.

For example, if you are going to be giving information and reviews of new coins or tokens that are hitting the market, then you want to choose something like, CryptoCoinExaminer.com so that people will be able to identify what your site is about before they even make the decision on whether or not to click the link and check out your content.

When you are trying to decide on a domain name, make sure it is something that you can brand and not something that is personal to only you because you might decide later to sell your business and you want it to be attractive to as many people as possible.

You also want to make sure that your domain name is memorable and easy to spell. If people can't easily remember the name of your website then they won't be able to find their way back to you very easily. You want something that sticks in people's minds so that whenever they see your brand again they remember that it was your site that had the awesome coin recommendation that they decided to buy into.

Web Hosting

I'm sure you are probably familiar with web hosting but in case you aren't, let me give you a brief explanation of what it is and why it is needed.

You can think of web hosting as being like the hard drive on your computer. It allows you to host (store) all of the files of your website so that when someone types in your domain name, they can see your website.

Anyone who has a website has to have web hosting in order for their website to be visible on the web.

The good news is, domain names and web hosting are very affordable. I highly recommend Hostgator for your domain name and web hosting, because they have highly reliable service at a price that even the most Rekt of crypto investors can afford. Check out their low cost domain name and hosting plan packages starting at only $2.75 per month here Today

Wordpress

If you are looking for the easiest to manage website and blog experience possible then you need to be using Wordpress. There is a free version of Wordpress and a self-hosted version of Wordpress (also free) so don't get the 2 mixed up.

The free version of Wordpress allows you to start a blog without needing to buy your own domain name and own web hosting so instead of your site being cryptocoinexaminer.com it would be cryptocoinexaminer.wordpress.com.

Which one sounds more memorable and brandable to you?

The self hosted version of Wordpress is the one we want to be using, and the good news is, it comes with the web hosting package that you choose.

It is very easy to install Wordpress on your domain name and you can do it with just a few clicks of the mouse.

Once installed, you will be able to customize your website any way that you want by choosing from hundreds and thousands of themes, plugins, widgets, and more.

(There's a full tutorial on how to install and setup Wordpress inside the Beginner Affiliate Academy so make sure to check that out)

Once you have all of your essentials, you are ready to go out and start getting traffic to your affiliate links!

How to Get Traffic to Your Affiliate Offers

351665157-2962b81dfddba34b74faf23a64a0c47982d3acb2953d68d635c3f5a7194a5abf.jpeg

Traffic is everywhere!

There are something like 4.5 Billion people using the internet right now and guess what they all have in common?

They all spend money!

And your job is to go out and get in front of them before they spend the money and get them to click through your affiliate link so that you can earn a commission off every dollar (or fiat currency) they spend.

So how do we do that?

There are a lot of different ways that you can generate traffic, but I'm going to narrow it down to 3 different sources for you to start with because these are the easiest ways for affiliate marketing beginners to get traffic.

Video Marketing

Video marketing is huge for driving traffic to your cryptocurrency affiliate offers!

The next time you're on YouTube take a look at your favorite Crypto YouTube channel and see how many views their videos are getting. Also, take a look at what they are creating videos about.

Your goal with video marketing is to build an audience so that you can have a steady stream of traffic to your videos every time you create a new one.

There are 3 areas that you should be focusing on when you create a YouTube channel for promoting your affiliate offers.

1.) Getting your videos ranked for keywords that people are searching for related to the affiliate offers you are promoting.

2.) Building up your audience by getting people to subscribe to your channel and turn the notifications on.

3.) Getting people to comment on your videos. This will help you form a community around your channel and allow new viewers to join in on the conversation.

These are things that you should always be focusing on...but there is one major thing that you should be doing in every single video you create.

Giving a Call To Action!

People these days have to be told what to do next before they'll actually do it, so you need to be telling people something like, "Click the link in the description of this video to get started with..." in order for them to actually do it.

Before you start your channel you should decide what style of video you are going to be creating.

Are you going to be in front of the camera the whole time talking to your audience?

Would it be better for you to share your screen and show people different things while you talk them through what you are doing?

Do you even need to be on camera or talk at all?

Now wait a minute...

That last one kinda tripped you up, didn't it?

Yeah it kinda tripped me up at first too!

When I heard there was a software out there that allowed you to use lifelike video avatars and a human-like text-to-speech engine, I was very intrigued.

But after looking into Video Robot and testing it out, I am convinced this is one of the best video creation software products on the market and I highly recommend you put it to the test for yourself if you are one of those camera shy people who want to be able to take advantage of the huge traffic potential YouTube offers without ever needing to be on camera or talk. Check out Video Robot Here Today!

The whole key to getting your channel noticed when are first starting out is YouTube search engine optimization (SEO) which is how well your video is optimized for the keywords you are targeting.

You want your videos to be fully optimized for your targeted keywords so they get ranked high in YouTube and the people searching for your content will be able to find it.

The more people who find your content, the greater the potential is for someone to click on your link and take action earning you a commission.

Not only is video marketing a great way to get traffic to your affiliate offers but it is a great way to get traffic to your blog as well.

Once you get people to your blog you get them away from the distractions of YouTube and you control the content they are focusing on which increases the likelihood of someone taking one of your affiliate offers.

It also helps build your brand so that you stand out more from the crowd.

Blogging

Remember a couple of minutes ago when we were discussing some of the essential tools you need to be a cryptocurrency affiliate?

Blogging is one of the major reasons you need those tools.

Not only does Wordpress help you create a beautiful, professional looking website but it also serves as a blogging platform where you will be able to create blog posts.

You can choose to display these blog posts on your website's homepage or you can have a certain page where people can click to read your blog posts. The style you choose purely depends on your personal preferences.

The most important thing is that once you create a blog post it is indexed by the search engines and it will be out there putting in the work for you while you are off checking your portfolio (for the 100th time today) or doing whatever else you enjoy spending time doing.

When you are creating blog posts you first want to do a little bit of research and find keywords that people are searching for.

Some of the best blog posts are those that are created giving reviews or answering questions because these types of keywords signify that a person is interested in the product/service you are promoting but they want someone to tell them it's good before they make the leap and get it.

On the other hand, answering questions that people have related to the affiliate offer you are promoting is a way that you can be seen as helpful and you can guide people towards your affiliate offers by answering their questions in a blog post.

The ideas that you can come up with for blog posts are limitless, so let your imagination run wild and I'm sure you will create some great content that your readers will love.

Solo Ads

Now this is a little bit of an advanced traffic strategy because it involves creating an email list and email marketing but it is one of the fastest and effortless ways to get people to your affiliate offers.

Solo ads are a form of advertising that allow you to rent someone else's email list and send an email out with your link in it. Typically the link you include in the email will be directed toward a capture page so that you can capture the email of the person who clicked on your link.

Capturing someone's email is known as generating a lead, and you want to capture leads so that you can follow up with them through a follow up email series.

Solo ads allow you to capture leads by deciding how many clicks you want on your link, how much you are willing to pay per click, and the quality of traffic you would like to send to your affiliate offers and capture pages.

I recommend Udimi for buying solo ads because they have a great platform that is full of sellers that have huge email lists in a variety of niches, and you should have no problem finding a seller that specifically has an email list full of hungry cryptocurrency buyers who are ready to hear about your offer.

Once you have created your Udimi account you will simply login, look for a seller who has good reviews and meets your criteria, decide how many clicks you want to buy, provide the seller with the link you want to send your traffic to, and then complete your order.

Make sure to pay close attention to the date that the solo ad is going to run. Your traffic will either run on that date or before if you give the seller permission to run your order early.

Udimi also provides you with a tracking link so that you will be able to see the traffic as it is coming in so that you can see how well your campaign is performing based on the number of clicks you have received and the number of people who have either signed up for your affiliate offer or signed up for your email list.

Solo ads are the way to go if you have a little bit of money to invest in generating traffic and you are looking for a nearly hands-off approach to getting traffic.

Create Your Udimi Account Today and Get $5 Off Your First Order!

There are other traffic methods too but these are 3 that you should start with because they have been proven to be the most effective for promoting affiliate offers in every single niche imaginable and they will keep working for a long time to come.

Wash, Rinse, Repeat

That's it!

That's really all there is to it.

The main thing to focus on is finding high quality affiliate offers that you feel comfortable promoting and then go out and get traffic to those offers by targeting people who are searching for keywords that are related to your offers.

Now, obviously there is a little more to it than the tips that I've given here, but I am fully confident that anyone could take action on the information I just gave you and go out and make something happen.

Whether it's through blogging, video marketing, or solo ads you need to start generating as much traffic as possible to the offers that you are promoting by giving reviews, how to's, or answering questions that people have.

The more you go through this process the easier it gets and the more commissions you will make because you will feel more and more comfortable with what you are doing.

Expect to have difficulties in the beginning because you are learning how to do something you've never done before. Just keep your head up and keep pushing forward and you will begin to see any barriers that are standing in your way begin to fall like dominoes.

Find a process and stick to it for every single affiliate promotion you run and before long you will have a business that runs like a well oiled machine.
