After creating my most popular article (Called 5 Ways to Earn Crypto without Investing or Mining) I was contacted by a few readers who wanted me to expand on each of the ways you can earn crypto, So in this article, I will start with the first way that I earn crypto, which is through Crowdholding. So let's get started!
Firstly, What is Crowdholding?
Crowdholding is a micro-task bounty platform where you can earn crypto for completing tasks and giving feedback to crypto projects. As a user of Crowdholding you are rewarded for :-
- Taking part in bounties such as sharing content on your social media (which is automised on Crowdholding).
- Giving feedback to crypto startups on a range of topics such as their whitepaper, their concept, marketing, website, UX / UI.
- Product testing of their ecosystem, crypto wallet and numerous other developments.
- Finding bugs and faults in their systems.
- upvoting comments on tasks.
For the startup, this information can be invaluable, as they are able to pull a large source of user feedback which in this current climate can be expensive and time consuming to find. All the feedback could make them stand out from their competitors.
For your feedback and contributions, you are rewarded in their token and also Crowdholding's YUP. I like to see this as more of a safety net for bounty hunters as even if the upcoming ICO fails you still walk away with YUP which is already listed on CoinMarketCap. On top of that it feeds the Crowdholding ecosystem as with every task there needs to be a YUP reward, creating an ecosystem with the YUP at the heart of it.
Recently they reached over 100 startups on their platform and have over 37,000 signups. What I like about this project is that even during the crypto winter, they continued to grow the amount of startups and users. A lot of ICOs have bled dry over the last 6 months, but they have continued to grow. I am very excited to see what happens when the market really takes off.
With all the above said, let me show you how you can earn crypto through Crowdholding.
How to earn with Crowdholding
1. Log into Crowdholding
To get started, simply visit the website (www.crowdholding.com) and click in the top right hand corner where you can see a "Sign in / up" button. You can see it on the image below.

From there, a popup will appear asking you to log in either with your Facebook account or your Gmail address. Simply click on the one you want to proceed with. I have personally used Facebook as I am already logged into my account on my laptop so it's very quick and easy.

From here, I would finish off your profile, it's quick and simple and the most important aspects are connecting your ETH address to your profile (As you are here to earn crypto so you want to be able to move what you earn to your wallet!). You are able to do this by clicking the same button where "Sign In / Up" where your will see will have changed to your name, once you click you will see that you are able to scroll down to your "account". You will see a page similar to the picture below, where you can add your information. Simply click the edit button. Please make sure to put in the correct ETH address and double check it.

You can add a pitch about yourself, your skills, your social media accounts if you wish to take part in bounty sharing tasks and your ETH wallet.
2. Take Part in their Microtasks
Once you have signed up and completed your profile, which should take you all of 3 minutes you are ready to take part in what Crowdholding is all about, taking part in tasks and earning crypto. To get started click on the "Home" button at the top of the page, this will bring you to the active tasks on the platform. On average there is a new task everyday, and sometimes more. I expect this will increase with the growth of the platform.
You can see there is a button to sort and filter the sort of tasks you wish to take part in as well, but I would suggest you look at all the tasks as there might be something that takes your fancy. Simply scroll down and click on the task that interest you. Currently while writing this article, there are 15 different tasks to take part in.

Once you click on the task that interested you, you will be greeted with a page that looks like the one below. This task is asking for feedback about the Brave Browser. For giving feedback, you will be rewarded not just in YUPs but also BAT. I would suggest that when giving your feedback you research, give a strong response and has intersting, thought provoking quality content, as the responses with the most votes get a higher share of the tokens available for the task.

Scroll down till you see the comment section and give your feedback while answering the questions asked in the task, simply type in your response and hit the publish button. There you go! You have taken part in your first task on Crowdholding.

Another example of a task can be seen below. This is a content sharing bounty, where you share content to your Twitter by clicking on the "Share on Twitter" button. Simply follow the instructions when clicking the button and you will share the content to your twitter and earn YUPs for it!

3. Upvoting comments on Tasks
Don't feel too confident in your writing abilities? There is another way to earn crypto on Crowdholding and that is by upvoting other user's responses on tasks. Crowdholding wants the most interesting and helpful responses to be rewarded the most as well as it allows the startups to find the most useful comments on their tasks. Under each comment in the task you will see the button below.

Simply clicking the upvote button will give that comment an upvote, the comment with the most upvotes will get the biggest share of the reward from the task. You can see the rules stated below. If you upvote the best responses, you also receive a bigger cut of the reward. Of course you cannot see which responses already have the most upvotes, so it encourages you to reward the comment you think has the best content.

4. Referral Program
Like a lot of crypto projects, Crowdholding also has a referral program to help spread awareness of their platform. You can find your refferal code on your profile. Simply share this link and if anyone signs up through your link, your both receive YUPs for it.

Last but not least I need to state that the way the system works is that once the task expires, the system automatically distributes the tokens you have earned to your profile. You can always see how many YUPs you have and other ERC-20 tokens on your profile, as well as the tasks you have taken part in and if they have expired. Simply scroll down to your activity on your profile. Below you can see an example from my account. The task that have a white background have paid out, the yellow ones are still active.

Once you have 500 YUPs you are able to simply withdraw all your tokens with the "Withdraw All" button on your account page.
I am a avid fan of this platform as I see it as a step up from traditional bounty platforms in the following ways :-
- You are able to automatically share content to your social media platforms, there is no need for spreadsheets in the usual way which is time consuming.
- All your tokens are calculated and added to your profile, there isn't some bounty manager having to go through weekly and reward users.
- They are not simple sharing tasks like most bounties, but actually tasks that are useful for startups as well as more engaging for the Crowdholder.
- You can be rewarded for showcasing your talents in marketing, design etc
If you want to use my referral link to earn your first YUPs you can do so by clicking here. I hope you liked the article and found it interesting and I hope to see you on the platform as a fellow Crowdholder! Come and join the crypto revolution!
