So if you are like me you looked into cloud mining and quickly realized few if any of the contracts out there were profitable. Most contracts would barely pay for themselves at all over the lifetime of the contract.
So I was very surprised when I checked into Dualmine.
I got sucked in based on there current free offer. Right now you can get an absolutely free 100Gh/s 2-year Bitcoin contract. That's right absolutely free just for signing up. To make that offer even better you can get an extra 50Gh/s free when you do some easy social media tasks. So for no money down based it looks like I should net $10 in two years. Ok, that is nice, not life changing, but free money is fine with me.
But that get me in the doors and I also noticed that they are currently running a 6X offer for every contract offer you purchase. Knowing that most of the cloud mining contracts are not profitable I was still not too interested, but I dug around enough to look at the profitability of their contracts and am rather impressed.
The following table shows the current contract profitability based on a $100 contact (you can get the 6X offer on contracts as low as $15, or as high as $40000 or more). These values were calculated based on prices as of 8/30.
$/Day $/yr $/2 yr % Gain
Bitcoin 0.41 151.20 302.40 302.40
Ethrium 0.71 259.20 518.40 518.40
Litecoin 0.73 266.40 532.80 532.80
Bitcoin Cash 0.45 165.60 331.20 331.20
Dash 0.73 266.40 532.80 532.80
Dogecoin 0.75 273.56 547.13 547.13
Zcash 0.75 273.71 547.41 547.41
Monero 0.73 266.48 532.96 532.96
That is a nearly 300% return in one year and over a 500% return in 2 years. Of course that assumes the current prices and difficulties remain the same which is not a good assumption, but at those ROI rates you will have your money back in a little over 4 months and be gaining pure profit for the rest of the 2-yr contract.
I don't know how long their 6X offer will last, but I plan to buy a contract to give it a try. I'll report back my findings.
