Bitcoin broke the $ 12,000 mark. Yesterday, traders and crypto enthusiasts were optimistic that Bitcoin could close the week above the $ 11,500 support zone. However, Bitcoin retested the $ 12,000 cap, reaching a daily high of $ 12,077 according to Binance. Bitcoin's rise to $ 12,000 is attributed, among other things, to Grayscale's US advertising campaign, which begins today, August 10th. According to Grayscale founder Barry Silbert, the campaign will be on major US television stations CNBC, MSNBC, FOX and Fox Business. Silbert also added that the aim of the advertising campaign is to bring the masses to cryptocurrencies.

Retail investors are switching to Bitcoin

Analysts now note that BTC may soon see strong growth due to capital inflows from retail investors entering the market for the first time. This group of investors can provide Bitcoin a strong base on which to grow, and is indicated by the number of addresses holding more than 1 BTC, along with the rising price of BTC. Another metric is the daily number of active cryptocurrency addresses. This metric is close to where it was during its peak in June 2019, even though the price of BTC is several thousand lower than at that time.

The fraudsters call potential victims and offer to sell or buy cryptocurrencies through a bogus fund, but first to send the cryptocurrencies to the PFSA compliance team's wallet to verify the legality of the transactions, and then the regulator clears the payment. But it is a scam.
