Curve Finance CEO Liquidated for $140 Million of CRV
Curve Finance founder Michael Egorov got liquidated today for $140 million of Curve’s native token CRV, as reported by Arkham Intelligence. Egorov borrowed nearly $96 million in stablecoins, mostly crvUSD, against his collateral in CRV on five different protocols. The news pushed the token price down by over 40%. UwU Lend Hit by Another $3.7 Million Hack Amid Reimbursement Efforts
In a troubling development, the UwU Lend protocol, which fell victim to a nearly $20 million hack on June 10, is now facing another ongoing exploit. Onchain data analytics platform Cyvers has alerted the protocol to the attack, asserting that the same attackers responsible for the previous exploit are behind this latest incident.
The ongoing exploit drained $3.7 million from several asset pools and comes just three days after the initial $20 million exploit, which was caused by price manipulation. To read more about the hack, click here.
Crypto Trading Addiction Has Become a Public Health Concern In the UK -NHS
The UK’s National Health Service recently claimed that addiction to crypto trading has become a public health concern in the country.
According to a statement from NHS chief Amanda Pritchard, there is a growing social need for “intervention” as younger people are increasingly exposed to and addicted to crypto trading. Pritchard spoke at the ConfedExpo in Manchester, attended by NHS managers, urging British lawmakers to take action in response to this trend. To read more about this topic, click here.
MetaMask Rolls Out Native Ethereum Staking In It's Wallet
MetaMask recently announced its Pooled Staking function, enabling users to stake any amount of Ether and earn rewards natively on the wallet. According to the announcement, this new feature from Consensys allows users to participate in the broader Ethereum’s security, previously limited to those with 32 ETH or more. Fetch.ai, SingularityNET, and Ocean Protocol Reschedule Token Merger for July 15th
Earlier in March, Fetch.ai, SingularityNET, and Ocean Protocol entered into a collaborative effort to establish an ethical and decentralized artificial intelligence ecosystem. As part of this initiative, their respective tokens, including FET, AGIX, and OCEAN, will be merged into a single token called the Artificial Superintelligence token (ASI).The event, initially set for June 13, is now slated for July 15, according to a press release shared by the team.

Cardano Prepares for Voltaire Era With Node 9.0 Launch

Ethereum Devs Confirm Pectra Upgrade to Include EIP-7702, PeerDAS, and More
