Let’s talk about a project I was interested in: Goose Finance

As per my previous posts, this decentralized exchange has been presented as a very interesting new platform (born in February 2021) as already was Pancake swap, with promising possibilities to invest and earn tokens of the Binance Smart Chain.

After only few months the project seems to be a total failure, the price of the EGG token has dropped down:

The platform itself is no more able to offer the advertised service about GUSD vaults, which basically consisted in receiving a plus rewards when staking the tokens, called GUSD (1 Backed by BUSD) that could be re-used in a dedicated and specific section to earn other profits:

If profits are positive, you can unstake to get the profits plus the invested GUSD
When the profit is negative, you will not be able to unstake.

At last but not least, the communication just disappear overnight. The last post published in the platform announcements is dated 14 Jun 2021, and the word given has not been respected:

The telegram group too has been literally abandoned and no admin are now inside the group which counts more than 8400 members.

For all the reasons above, I decided to no more hold this coin and exchange it with something different.
Of course, I have lost this “not so big” investment. Even if I farmed more EGG coins, lowering the purchasing average, the amount I initially paid has not been covered. I know, it happens! I would prefer to hold and trust them, but I finally decided to withdraw everything yesterday... hoping I was in time before a worse inflation. By now, a day after this choose, I can confirm the price is continuing to go down and it was better than nothing.

Is there someone else who invested in Goose finance? What do you think?
