Recently I noticed a number of posts on publish0x that didn't allow comments.
Truth be told. I didn't realize that was possible until last week.
Nonetheless, I asked myself why anyone would join a platform like publish0x in the full knowledge that it allows comments and then disallow comments for their own posts
While I may not comment on every post I read, and while not every post of mine gets comments, I strongly feel that the comments is a pillar of the post itself.
The ability to read, then question, like, comment on, discuss and even disagree is what helps build the community that publish0x is.
Why would someone disable comments, but if not for purposes of advertising, announcing, being anti-social or sometimes just being bit dodgy. The only exceptions to this should be for "official" announcements.
For that reason, I will not tip a post that disallows comments.
